You beat me to the punch. My wife and I was reading about this on USA

Today yesterday. I think it was this group where we were talking

about the dangers of High Fructose Corn Syrup before and this just

adds to the problems with it. Keep in mind that if you are going to

avoid High Fructose Corn Syrup that it is in foods that you would

never think it would be. Even in foods that may not be very sweet.

This is because it is also used as a preservative. So be sure to read

the labels. Take care and God Bless.

Love,

The Oklahoma Tomcat

I was looking at dog treats the other day, and picked up a package of treats put out by Rachael Ray. I was very disturbed to see HFCS listed as one of the ingredients. Needless to say, I didn't get it!

As soon as I get that dehydrator, I'm going to make my own dog treats. I know you can bake them, too, but I'd like to dehydrate some liver as a special treat. :)Cyndi

I would have never guessed that HFCS was in dog treats. Then again, it is a preservative so I guess they put it in there to preserve the dog treats.

I'm really glad reading labels has gotten to be such a habit for me!
