Guest guest
I dropped RR too. The new owner was annoying, and I never used any of the recipes either. I like REAL food too. :-) Cyndi Celia Browne <lady_celia Sat, 10 Jan 2009 8:49 am Re: Fwd: [RFSL] Grandma's Home-Made Sucralose Yeah, no kidding! They went commando on this poor guy!!! It was a low carb group that I monitor for an occasional good idea, but for the most part they indulge in all-fat-sugar-substitute-filled garbage food with no concern for chemical additives or nutritional value. Since I value simple food in its most natural state, I'm not a good fit and have never contributed anything to the list. In fact, I'm about ready to drop the list, not because of the attack, per se, but the fact that it just reminded me that my values are too different. I dropped my Retro-Recipes group also! (Turned it over to a new owner.) My focus is just elsewhere right now...like on whole grains, fruits, veggies and legumes. Now THAT'S some good food IMO! --Cee-- Cyndikrall 1/8/2009 9:48:17 A.M. Did they really attack the guy who posted it? Why, because they are fans of Splenda? That's very sad. It's amazing the number of people who really think Splenda is healthy. Guest guest
Oh, sorry to hear she was/is annoying, heh-heh...but what do we care? LOL! Let them eat CAKE. Isn't that all they talk about??? HahahahaOn a bad note, the economy continues to sour in Detroit, and all the new employees--including me--were let go. These are scary times. On a good note, my son and his wife just had their 2nd baby and have discovered how hard it is to raise 2 kids with two working parents....sooooooooooooooo.....<drum roll please>....guess who they hired to cook, clean and take care of the kids??? Me! Hahahaha. The best part is that it was my DIL's idea totally and she is thrilled that I'm feeding her daughter home-made food instead of the commercial crap they were giving her. (Nikki is a full time teacher and doesn't cook at all.) I won't get rich being a nanny, cook and bottle washer, but the benefits are unbeatable...especially having a hand in raising my grandkids and feeding them REAL food. <satisfied smile>At least it works for right now. Guest guest
So sorry about you losing your job, Cee, but what an awesome new job! Wow! You are very lucky, and what job perks too, lol. Where else can you go to work and get hugs and kisses? ;-) Hugs, Cyndi In a message dated 1/12/2009 5:25:54 P.M. Guest guest
Yeah, no kidding, Cyndi! How'd I get this lucky??? I get the cutest little kisses and hugs and squeals of happiness from Savanna, but William, (for now) is just peeing and spitting up on me, LOL! Best of all, when I take them anywhere, everyone thinks they're MINE, hahahahaha....I'm liking it even more every day. <BIGSMILES>--Cee--"cyndikrall" <cyndikrall Sent: Tuesday, January 13, 2009 7:16:14 PMRe: [RFSL] Grandma's Home-Made Sucralose So sorry about you losing your job, Cee, but what an awesome new job!
