9 January 2009 Greetings! Today I once again need to devote this newsletter to information, rather than a recipe, because honey has been in the news. Much new information has surfaced about where honey comes from, how it is tainted, what's on store shelves, mislabeling, and more, so if you are eating honey, you need to know what's happening. The bottom line is: buy local honey from beekeepers you know and can check up on. If you're buying honey any other way, it's anyone's guess what you're getting. Read more about this on my Sweet Savvy blog at http://sweetsavvy.com/blog/. Debra :-)
