I'm not down to 100 things yet but I am working on it. I am planning a freecycle party with some friends soon where we will exchange all the things we no longer use but may be perfect for someone else. Whatever doesn't get picked up will be given to charity. I look at things differently now, even the most fabulous sale has no power over me!

Here is the way one man is fighting consumerism. Interesting concept, but I could never do it-it's all I can do not to bring new stuff, lol. This seems like more of a "man" thing than a woman thing. Men seem to find it a lot easier not to have a lot of personal possessions.
