In this issue of the Mindful Wealth email newsletter, I'm bringing you MORE innovative ideas for earning a living in the natural health market. These are not website ideas; they're more in the realm of physical products and info products.

 

I'll keep these ideas coming! I'm so excited to be able to bring these to you. It's just so rewarding to help people find new ways to transition their professional lives into something healing and creative (and something they LOVE to do!).

Idea #2 - Sell Breville juicers online

 

Although I haven't gone public with this yet, I absolutely love the Breville juicers. They're the best I've ever found.

 

I want to do a review of the juicers and promote them on NaturalNews.com, but I don't have any source to recommend for readers to buy them! Of course, there's Amazon.com, but why should Amazon earn these profits when YOU could be earning them? I'd much rather see NN readers get the business than Amazon.

 

So here's the deal: If you have an online retailer (or want to start one) and can carry the Breville juicers, offer good pricing, excellent service, etc., then I'd be happy to recommend you as a source for buying them. If you can give us an affiliate arrangement, we can even start promoting these on the ad space across NN, but that's optional.

On a similar note, we don't yet have a good source to recommend for Vita-Mix machines either, nor Excalibur dehydrators, for that matter. Someone needs to offer ALL these machines in one place, together with some nut milk bags. I'd be thrilled to recommend an online resource where people can get all three... especially if it's a NaturalNews reader.

 

Idea #3 - Long-term storable superfoods

 

With turmoil in the world, more and more people are concerned about basic preparedness. But did you ever notice that long-term storable foods are usually loaded with junk ingredients and preservatives?

 

What we all need is a source for long-term storable HEALTHY foods (and superfoods). By long-term storable, I mean packed in a #10 can (like a large coffee can), with oxygen absorbers (or nitrogen packed) and moisture absorbers (dessicant packs). The equipment to do this isn't very expensive, either.

 

There's a huge opportunity waiting for someone who can offer sealed, #10 cans packed with goji berries, cacao nibs, dried seaweed, natural granola, freeze-dried berries, brown rice protein and other similar items. This is a HUGE, multi-million dollar opportunity, in my opinion.

 

I'd love to promote a company offering this. The world really needs these products, and they're impossible to find right now in a long-term storable format. I can't figure out why nobody has thought of this yet... if I wasn't so busy, I'd do it myself.

Idea #4 - Long-term storable seeds of herbs and medicinal plants

 

One of the things I'm recommending people acquire for basic preparedness is SEEDS. Not just garden seeds, but seeds of medicinal herbs and plants, including culinary herbs like thyme, mint, sage, etc.

 

I've never been able to find any company offering such seeds packed in long-term storable containers (#10 cans, as mentioned earlier), packed air-tight with oxygen absorbers and moisture absorbers.

 

There's a huge business opportunity waiting for someone who can put these products together with a catchy name that implies food security. Maybe it should be called "Everlife Seeds" or something like that. Seeds for life, food for life, etc. Obviously, they should all be non-hybrid seeds, too.

 

This would be a really great product to announce on NN. And by the way, somebody should do this with SPROUTING seeds, then sell the spouting machine alongside it. The best sprouting machine, in my opinion, is the Easy Green sprouter (www.EasyGreen.com), which you can buy in volume and sell at a profit along with your vacuum-packed seeds. Awesome combo product!

 

Idea #5 - Holistic Dating Site

 

Why hasn't anybody started a holistic dating site? You know, where you can find holistic-minded people who are into superfoods nutrition, yoga, green living and that kind of thing.

 

Maybe somebody already has and I just don't know about it, but if nobody has yet done this, it's a great idea (although it would require a LOT of capital for marketing in order to reach a critical mass of candiDATES.)

 

A variation on this would be a kind of "natural MySpace" where it's a social networking site, but it caters to holistic-minded individuals. That might not work, however, since social network is more for the younger crowd, and holistic living is usually only discovered by people who are more mature, but it's worth exploring this idea to see what might work.

Words of advice: Things to consider before starting any business

 

Is there already competition? Do your research. If there is competition, see if you can find a way to do it better, cheaper or with better service.

 

What's the start-up investment cost? Try to minimize this as much as possible. Don't spend big bucks on advertising. Let NN help you get on the map, and then grow your customer base carefully and without spending a fortune on advertising or marketing. Don't waste your time with Yellow Pages ads, for example. They are a complete waste. Keep expenditures really low until the business starts to pay for itself, then expand cautiously.

 

How will you build your website? You'll need two components: The site the customers see (the intro site) and then the e-commerce shopping site (which is the hard part). I like 1ShoppingCart.com for simple things. Currently we use Volusion for Truth Publishing, but I don't like Volusion. See if you can find something better.

 

If you sell physical products, you'll need fufillment and support services, too. So be prepared to deal with customer questions, product returns, credit card fraud, etc. Don't send a thousand dollars worth of product to Indonesia, because chances are the card was stolen and you're being jacked.

 

Finally, please understand that while I'm happy to consider promoting your company on NN, I cannot guarantee any particular level of sales or exposure. You have my goodwill, but the audience ultimately determines the result, not me.
