I imagine you could do it all in one go in a big pot or crockpot, just adjust the time and watch the liquid level Thanks Ellen.Im going to do it this way to.I make tomato sauce in my crockpot to.So much easier and saves on gas.This sounds really good. One thing I noticed with the leftover I didn't can, the ginger is fairly strong-ok, I put in more than called for, but I wonder if it will continue to strengthen in the jar, so if you're going to store it, you might want to go light on the ginger.
