Guest guest
That's great that you live where you can see so many animals. I'd love it! Cyndi In a message dated 9/4/2008 4:53:17 P.M. People tend to think of them as a nuisance because they are so smart and curious, but we've had good luck so far. We've also seen an otter in that creek and turtles. Plus TONS of different birds and things. I've had 2 nests of baby cardinals so far this year. Unfortunately I've also seen spiders & snakes, plus we've had more than 1 lizard in the house, but its worth it. Terri M It's only a deal if it's where you want to go. Find your travel deal here. Guest guest
Yup, I was a bit leery being a city girl, but i love it. The owls are my favorite! They are so awesome looking. We have some very chatty ones that remind me of monkeys because they squeak more then hoot. lol I'll try to send through some more pic of the other animals we've seen. There's a sign on the way into our neighborhood that says "BEWARE OF ALLIGATOR. PLEASE DO NOT FEED" - ACK!! But we've not seen one yet. lol terri --- On Thu, 9/4/08, cyndikrall <cyndikrall wrote: cyndikrall <cyndikrallRe: [RFSL] Raccoon Hygiene #2 Date: Thursday, September 4, 2008, 8:41 PM That's great that you live where you can see so many animals. Guest guest
Please do, I'd love to see more pics! I would love to see an alligator too, lol, although most people don't like them. Which is sad because we've taken away THEIR habitat. I love owls too, and I wish I had a place to set up owl houses. But we have no trees! Cyndi In a message dated 9/4/2008 6:20:38 P.M. Guest guest
I'm sure there are plans to make them out there somewhere. I don't have any myself, but I did a quick google search and there are plenty of them easily available. Sounds like it would be a great project for Brian. ;-)Cyndi In a message dated 9/10/2008 7:59:37 P.M. Pacific Daylight Time, tressa1220 writes: Owl Houses!!??? Do you have plans online for some? Brian wants to make bat houses, but if i told him about owl houses he'd be SO excited too. he loves owls and is very impressed by them,. they're so majestic. plus they don't really seem like other birds so they're intriguing. terri m--- On Mon, 9/8/08, cyndikrall (AT) aol (DOT) com <cyndikrall (AT) aol (DOT) com> wrote: cyndikrall (AT) aol (DOT) com <cyndikrall (AT) aol (DOT) com>Re: [RFSL] Raccoon Hygiene #2 Date: Monday, September 8, 2008, 5:01 PM Please do, I'd love to see more pics!
