Muriel update

Glen said she hung out high in the trees all saturday, cheeping

for dinner. In the evening she finally came down, but didn't fly to

the them. They were able to catch her and she had a good meal before

going out for the night. Sunday she had a good breakfast, but again

stayed out of reach most of the day. In the evening she came to the

hummingbird feeder and Glen caught her and took inside for dinner and

then when she went outside she visited the hummingbird feeder again.

 

He said he almost wasn't sure it was her, she was sleek and shiny and

flying very confidently, though needs to build stamina for hovering at

the feeder.

Well, if it wasn't Muriel, then some poor wild Hummer was very confused, lol. ;-)

 

Now, your friend needs to put up some of those hummingbird nests so that she can come back to his house and raise more generations of babies. :-)
