Guest guest
Erika, do you take Lysine? I've found it a big help. Seems to me I heard of something else that will help that. Give me a while to find the info again, I can't retain anything in the brain any more, lol. Cyndi In a message dated 7/10/2008 7:55:22 A.M. Guest guest
Lysine is an amino acid. I've been using tooth soap (toothsoap.com.) I really like it. I've looked at the "natural" tooth products in the stores, and I'm not impressed. Tooth soap is having some kind of sale now, i think 30% off of everything, so I'm going to order another bottle. I’m intimidated by natural products because I don’t know which ones are really worthwhile and which ones aren’t. Kind of like buying organic produce from China at Whole Foods. Just because something states it is organic doesn’t mean that it’s good for you. It could still be junk. There is all that ‘greenwashing’ out there and I’m skeptical of any corporation who is touting something is healthy. I did read that SLS in toothpaste might cause this. I use Kiss My Face toothpaste but did see it has SLS just like Colgate and the like. Guest guest
Erika, Super pressed for time time now but stop using SLS toothpate. I can't believe they snuck it into all these "natural toothpastes". I think vit. C silver hydrosol may help. I'd rec. the Smart Medicine for healthier living book y ZAND etc. for you the child's version for you kids. It's in the Howard Co libraries if not Balt they'll let you borrow. It's sooo worth it. Guest guest
Make sure you're getting enough iron -- my son got cold sores regularly & repeatedly when he was a kid. I started him on vitamins w/iron & they cleared up & never came back. Kate , " Sotirakos, Erika T.
