I am a newbie here and looking forward to getting to know you all~ We live in West Hartford with our two year old twin girls Kenzie and Maddy. We are striving to one day be able to be self sufficiant. I have started canning this year and we plan to start a garden next year. This year we watched our yard to see where and when the sun was shining=) We don't have cable and try to turn off lights when they are not in use. We recycle and I have started making my own cleaners and hand soap~ which is so exciting for us! I am taking a few knitting and sewing classes to be able to make clothes and such for my children.
