Growing potatoes in a garbage bag

I would not recommend growing the potatoes in a plastic garbage bag. I highly doubt they are rated for food storage, and I am concerned about leaching. But the article demonstrates how you can grow them in a small space, so it's useful if you want to try it in another type of container.
