Guest guest
Now that we got the tooth paste issue out of the way, lol, I am wondering what everyone does for deodorant? I've tried some "natural" method, but haven't been happy with any of them long term. Anyone have any good ideas? :-)Thanks, CyndiCreate a Home Theater Like the Pros. Watch the video on AOL Home. Guest guest
I used a crystal for a long time. I found it stopped working for me after a while, and did not hold up to me going to the gym, or the heat of summer here. And I really liked it, prior to that, too! Guest guest
I agree, winter is easy, even here in California. But I go to the gym during the winter, so going commando is not an option. :-(Cyndi In a message dated 3/20/2008 10:57:42 A.M. I haven’t decided what I’m going to do this summer though. I guess it works OK because my husband who is part bloodhound (very sensitive to body smells) hasn’t noticed a difference and I haven’t told him I stopped using deodorant. I do get a little wet and have to wash my shirts more frequently but I don’t think my smell is offensive as I wash daily. Create a Home Theater Like the Pros. Watch the video on AOL Home. Guest guest
I tried one from TT too. I don't remember if it was the classic or new version, but I kind of think it was the new version. Never before in my life have I smelled so bad! Not body odor, more like rancid coconut oil, ugh. I threw it away a long time ago, but I wish I remembered which version it was, now that you say you like it. Maybe I'll contact them and see if they have an order history, so I can try a different version. I really wanted that one to work! Thanks ;-)Cyndi In a message dated 3/20/2008 11:10:18 A.M. Guest guest
I use Jason's (earth's best) lavender deodorant. It seems to work just fine. :)On Thu, Mar 20, 2008 at 1:41 PM, Kris DuVall <strange_decadence wrote: I use that crystal rock thing. I always forget what things are properly called. Guest guest
Well, maybe you happened to get an old one. Don't forget that different people have different chemical reaction to everything they put on their skin. This deodorant suits me fine but it may not be good for you. Barbara I tried one from TT too. Guest guest
Very true. Something about it just did not agree with me. But I know they had two different configurations, and I wish I could remember which one I got. I'll keep working on it. The thought of cancer-causing chemicals near my lymph glands are enough to motivate me to keep trying, lol.
