Guest guest
I emailed you all a few months ago about how I was unable to recycle my Sonicare toothbrush. I sent letters to Philips (the manufacturer) and to Costco (where I bought the toothbrush). My letter to Philips was returned undeliverable, but Costco actually forwarded my letter to Philips, and I received an answer! Long story short, they do still have a recycling program in which they send you a prepaid envelope to return the toothbrush base. My experience, says their letter, alerted them to some serious problems with their website and customer service! The moral: sometimes it pays to complain. I still plan to stick with my new hand-held toothbrush made from recycled materials, partly for the environment, and partly because I just can't afford $100 toothbrushes anymore! But they did send me a rebate offer - $15 off FlexCare, or $10 off Elite or Essence. If anyone wants it, I'll be happy to mail it to you. I'll hang on to it for a month, then toss it.
