I homeschool [HS] 3 boys using an ecelectic [waldorf, Aesop fables,unschooling] approach to education with a strong emphasis on self suffiency and eco responsability. I have a small and sometimes sucessful hand-weaving business. My Husband is a bee-keeper and a regualr job in Cape Town. We hope that in the future he will leave this job and participate more fully on the farm. Our news for this week is that fernie and baby our two goat gave birth. Fern had 1 female and Baby had 3 [yes amazing] boys. Fern has had so much milk that we have already started to milk her once a day. Each milking we are getting approx 2,5 L. I've heard Goats milk is the healthiest milk. I'd love to try some if I ever run across some fresh raw milk. I can understand why you are happy to have it again. :-)And bee keeping-another goal of mine some day! I find it fascinating. Good for you for practicing so many eco friendly and health friendly projects. Thanks for introducing yourself.
