Guest guest
Diane, I haven't read the book, but have you tried the Weston A. Price site? There is always lots of info about raw milk there. I've never researched any specific disease cures from raw milk, but I do believe it is one of the single healthiest foods you can consume. I don't know if the Milk Cure also talks about raw butter, but if you go to westonaprice.org, you'll find something called the " X " factor that is in raw butter that Price believed to be crucial in maintaining good health. Mercola.com has a lot of info about raw milk. He might also have some info specifically about Lyme disease too. Also, since you are talking about immune issues, I'd recommend getting more info on coconut oil. Coconut oil contains anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, anti-microbial properties that help boost the immune system. There is a couple of good books, Eat Fat, Lose Fat and The coconut oil diet (not the exact name but similar) by Mary Enig and Sally Fallon that are excellent. There is also a coconut oil group, if you're interested. Best of luck to you and your family! Guest guest
I'm glad to hear you're kefiring too. ;-)I'll keep my eyes open for any info on Lyme disease. I can imagine how hard it is to see your son suffer with it. A woman my husband works with was out with Lyme for over 6 months. It was chronic in her husbands family, and she caught it from him. I had no idea it could be transmitted that way. Keep us posted on the goats and chickens! I hear raw goats milk is even better for you than raw cows milk. And fresh eggs are just way too much fun. ;-)cyndi In a message dated 8/30/2007 11:35:49 A.M. Thanks for all your help. We will continue to press on and probably get our dairy goats this fall and hopefully have kids in the spring! My poor husband. I've always been a country girl, but he's never wanted animals (two dogs is enough), but I've courted the idea for 20 yrs....yeah, finally getting my goats and I keep saying chickens too. We already do all that you mentioned....none of it is a real cure...just helps improve your immune system which I do believe will bring us closer to complete healing. But watching my 19 yo son is painful and I can't rest until I find a cure! Guest guest
Hi Diane, I think I missed the beginning of this thread but if you have a chronic lyme disease in your family, you may be interested in a free ebook. Although the author is talking about 100% cure for malaria, he also mentions other bacterial and parasitic diseases. Maybe you will be interested in reading it. Here is a link. If you have time, read the whole thing but if you are in a hurry go to chapter 8 or 9 and read from then. http://www.miraclemineral.org/ Barbara Thanks Cindi,Yes, I'm in the other groups and we consume raw dairy.
