Note: Dried Coconut Products’ Price to Increase Healthy Buyer's Club Discounts: 50% Off 5 Gallon Pail Green Label Virgin Coconut Oil Ends Sunday! 65% Off on Cases of Coconut Soap – Unscented Ends Sunday! 40% Off on Cases of All Purpose Household Cleaner Ends Sunday! ------------- ORGANIC COCONUT CREAM CONCENTRATE 32 OZ.: BUY 2 GET 2 FREE ENDS SUNDAY! Coconut Cream Concentrate is certified organic whole coconut meat in concentrated form. It contains no additives (not even water). The dried coconut meat is ground into a very fine powder, giving it a creamy consistency due to its high fat content. Since it is 70% fat, it is a rich source of pure virgin coconut oil. Note: this is a food, not a cooking oil. It is an excellent ingredient for cooking and baking. Because of its low moisture content, it can be mixed right in the batter or dough of breads and pastries. It can also enhance soups, be blended with smoothies, or made into ice cream. Many people just eat it straight, or spread it on breads and crackers, because it is so delicious! Now, until Sunday July 15th only, you can purchase 2 quarts at the retail price and get the second 2 quarts FREE! That's a whole gallon packaged in 4 high quality glass jars. Many people have begged us to package this in larger containers, like gallons, because they consume so much. But it is not practical to package this in gallons. For one thing, during the hot summer months the coconut oil in this product turns liquid and separates, just as in other natural nut butters or peanut butter. It needs to be mixed back in. During the winter cold months, the oil gets very hard, and it is almost impossible to get the material out of a large container as it becomes literally hard as a rock. So it needs to be warmed in the winter time. So this is your chance to purchase a couple of gallons at a lower price, packaged in glass jars! The normal retail price for this is $80.00, but now you can purchase 4 quarts for only $40.00! Take advantage of this offer before prices increase on all dried coconut products! Virgin Palm oil is palm oil that is traditionally made and maintains the natural nutrients of carotenes (precursors to Vitamin A) and the antioxidant tocotrienols (Vitamin E). Typical RBD (Refined, Deodorized, and Bleached) palm oil has these nutrients stripped from them resulting in a clear oil. Tropical Traditions Virgin Palm Oil is certified organic and produced in West Africa, where it has been grown and produced on small family farms for hundreds of years. Our source is certified by the African Wildlife Society for preserving wildlife, and in 2002 was awarded in the World Summit for promoting sustainable agriculture. Child labor is not allowed, and there is a firm commitment by our supplier to social values and the environment in West Africa. Although scarcely used in the US, palm oil is the most heavily consumed dietary oil in the world after soybean oil. If one were to exclude the US where most of the world's soybean oil is consumed, palm oil would be the most popular dietary oil in the world. Palm oil traditionally has been used for baking, shortenings, margarines and deep fat frying, as it is shelf stable with a high melting point and does NOT require hydrogenation. Therefore, it contains no trans fatty acids. Virgin Palm Oil contains two powerful antioxidants: tocotrienols and carotenes. Vitamin E is one of the most important phytonutrients in edible oils. It consists of eight naturally occurring isomers, a family of four tocopherols (alpha, beta, gamma and delta) and four tocotrienols (alpha, beta, gamma and delta) homologues. While most Vitamin E supplements on the market today are composed of the more common tocopherols, tocotrienols are believed to be a much more potent antioxidant than tocopherols. Tocotrienols are naturally present in most plants, however they are found most abundantly in palm oil extracted from palm fruits. It has been shown by published research that alpha-tocotrienol is more potent than alpha-tocopherol as a form of Vitamin E. Since tocotrienols are a form of Vitamin E found less abundantly in nature than tocopherols, the research on this super anti-oxidant is still recent and ongoing. It is predicted that tocotrienols will become recognized as the new super anti-oxidant in the very near future. Virgin Palm Oil is one of your best sources for Vitamin E. Most Vitamin E supplements and skin care products on the market today are soy-based. Carotenes from Virgin Palm Oil are nature's abundant source! In nature, there are approximately 600 known carotenoids, ranging from yellow orange to red hues and some 50 of these pigments possess vitamin A activity of varying degrees. Virgin Palm Oil is one of the richest natural plant sources of carotenoids with concentration of 500-700 ppm. It has 15 times more carotenoids than carrots and 300 times more than tomatoes. No other vegetable oil contains carotenoids in such significant quantities. Analysis shows that alpha and beta carotenes constitute approximately 90% of the total carotenoid content. Until Sunday July 15th only, you can purchase one gallon of Virgin Palm Oil for 50% off! That is a $75.00 retail value for only $37.50! Grass-Fed Traditions currently supplies 100% grass-fed beef from small-scale family farms in Wisconsin. Our cows are all grass-fed Angus and Galloway (mostly Galloway). How do we define " grass-fed? " The cows are on pasture, not in feed lots eating silage. They are also finished on grass, and do not eat grains at all. We don't process animals in the Winter or early Spring, when they are only eating dry grass. Our animals are eating green grass right up to the time of processing, and are dry aged before packaging. Many sources of " grass-fed " beef today are simply from cows in feedlots eating silage year round. The CLA Advantage Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) is a naturally occurring free fatty acid found mainly in meat and dairy products in small amounts. CLA was discovered by accident in 1978 by Michael W. Pariza at the University of Wisconsin while looking for mutagen formations in meat during cooking. The most abundant source of natural CLA is the meat and dairy products of grass-fed animals. Research conducted since 1999 shows that grazing animals have from 3-5 times more CLA than animals fattened on grain in a feedlot. Simply switching from grain-fed to grass-fed products can greatly increase your intake of CLA. (Dhiman, T. R., G. R. Anand, et al. (1999). " Conjugated linoleic acid content of milk from cows fed different diets. " J Dairy Sci 82(10): 2146-56.) Omega 3's Omega 3 is an essential fatty acid for human growth and development. We must have it to be healthy. Grass-finished beef is a great source for this essential nutrient. The source of Omega 3 is the green leaves of plants. When cattle eat their natural diet, beef becomes a great source of Omega 3. Grain is not a rich source of Omega 3, so standard, cattle-finishing practices cause the Omega 3 level to decrease dramatically. Galloway Cattle Galloway cattle are an ancient breed that originated in the rugged hill country of southwestern Scotland. They are related to the Angus which was developed in northeastern Scotland. While the Angus was selected for rapid growth on better feed, the Galloway was selected for its ability to thrive on poor forage in a cold wet climate. They were first imported to the states in the 1850s. They are still rare in North America, and worldwide only number about 10,000. Their popularity is now increasing with the renewed interest in grass-fed and grass-finished beef. The Galloway, unrivaled as a grazing breed, utilizes coarse grasses frequently shunned by other breeds. They have the ability to produce a high quality beef product directly from grass. Due to the breed's naturally dense, insulating coat the Galloway does not layer on excessive outside fat. Results of a multi-breed research project conducted by a Canadian Government Experiment Station, reveal that the Galloway ranks second only to the Buffalo in hair density tests. The robust, hardy nature of the Galloway is especially suited for northern harsh climates. The claim that Galloway beef is juicy, tender, and flavorful is substantiated in recent USDA tests of Galloway crossbreds, when compared with eleven other breeds. Results of the Cycle IV Germ Plasm Evaluation (GPE) Program at the USDA Meat Animal Research Center (MARC), Clay Center, Nebraska, showed the Galloway crosses placing at the top of the chart for flavor, juiciness and tenderness. Now, through Sunday July 15th only, you can purchase 12 lbs. of grass-fed ground beef for only $69.00! That is 33% off the retail price, and only $5.75 lb. plus shipping.
