I agree! They talk about this on the compacting list a lot, too. I've started choosing local produce when the organic produce comes from Mexico or South America. My Whole Foods and Co-op carries both, and they're really good at telling you where the produce comes from. We've also been frequenting a couple of local markets that carry local produce grown organically, but not certified, so it's possible to find both with a little luck and some searching. :-)Cyndi
