Guest guest
I was introduced to Fly Lady during the time I was a live-in nanny and found it very helpful, although I can't imagine cleaning and cooking in clothes I would wear to the office and I never followed her rule about shoes......I live in San Diego County where bare feet and flip flops (if you must wear something) RULE! I never followed the regime strictly by the rules-well, I did try to in the beginning. After a while, I just adapted her teachings to my own routine. One thing I've learned is that my house is NOT going to be uncluttered over night, lol. It's a matter of small battles on a daily basis, looking for opportunities to throw things out, organize things, use things up, etc. I'm a big fan of keeping boxes in the garage for different things-stuff to throw away, stuff to give away, stuff to freecycle, etc. This has made my decluttering so much easier. :-)Cyndi "Forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and thewinds long to play with your hair." - Kahlil Gibran Any questions? Guest guest
I know what you mean about bare feet, lol. But I got into the "shoe" habit, mostly because I work at home a lot, so I need to get into the mindset to WORK, lol. Cyndi In a message dated 2/28/2007 4:33:48 A.M.
