Guest guest
Did you read the companion piece on Things You Should Never Buy Used? Another good read. I'm on the waiting list for my local CSA. Apparently they still fill up fast even in the off season. Hopefully you won't have as much competition in your area, Sluggy. Btw, have any of you heard of something called Green Bags? I was reading on a site where someone was raving how well they worked for keeping produce longer. I haven't googled it yet. Guest guest
Yah, I read it and immediately thought of another thing they forgot to put on that list.......Used Underwear! Need I say more.....*snort* Good luck getting to the top of your CSA waiting list. I figure I'll have a better chance here b/c it's NOT CA....therefore not as many health conscious people. Eating veggies around here is revolutionary and not something most folks do on a daily basis...lol sluggy ************* Did you read the companion piece on Things You Should Never Buy Used? Cyndi I've never seen those Cyndi but I saw a plastic clear bin with vents on the ends that you can store produce in. Supposedly it can keep produce fresh for a month?..... That's similar to those baggies for produce, they came out with a few years back, with tiny holes in the plastic. Did you ever try those? sluggy
Guest guest
Nope I don't think so. The ones I heard people talking about had some kind of material on the inside of the bags that absorbed moisture, so it kept produce fresh longer. I still haven't googled for it, lol. Feeling kind of crappy this week, ugh. Cyndi In a message dated 2/7/2007 9:21:58 P.M.
