What Does 200 Calories Look Like? This link below provides a great

example of WHY Americans are overweight. Even if not for " super-

sizing " everything, it shows huge amounts of fruits and vegetables

equaling 200 calories compared to 2 small glasses of Coke, 2/3 of a

bagel, a handful of candy, etc. Our ancestors did eat fatty foods such

as raw butter, milk and cream and meat, BUT they balanced appropriate

portions of such things with fresh fruits, vegetables and grains, NOT

Coca-Cola, Snickers Bars and Sara Lee.

Check it out!

Wow, I LOVE this! Great information! Really puts common foods into perspective. I can eat apples til I overflow! lol.

Did anyone else think the Fiber One cereal looked like meal worms? LOL.

I was reading an article the other day that said on an evolutionary scale, humans ate a diet of meat and vegetables. When grains came along, disease followed shortly thereafter.

I can eat melons until I explode... LOL And Fiber One DID look to me like mealworms..!!! I guess we both are or were keeping fish?

And I also read that humans started to get all the diseases after the onset of agriculture and grains. Come to think of it, grains in the raw state are only digestible for birds. Horses do not do good on it, cows get so sick on grains that they require different drugs to get better and grains are death to cats and to a lesser extent to dogs both ot which are carnivores. People definitely would do better on just meat and veggies.
