Guest guest
What Can You Use As a Skin Moisturizer? Q : by shane from moorpark, United States What do you do for body lotion, most lotions have soybean products in them? Would it be just as hazardous to use those lotions as it is to eat soy? A : Answer (Published 13 hrs ago ) The safest moisturizer that I recommend is pure coconut oil. It is inexpensive and all natural - the important point that needs to be understood is that anything applied to the skin is absorbed by the body and processed through the organs. Think twice before you apply any topical lotions or moisturizers to your skin as the substance will be absorbed by your body!
Guest guest
I started to use coconut oil but it is so messy It maybe best for your skin but if you are reluctant to use it because you can't it will not help you one bit.... Guest guest
I've tried everything else, with no really good results. I'll try the coconut oil too. The thing that I've really found is that you need to EAT good oils and fats to get good skin. My skin has been a LOT better since I started eating flaxseed oil, hempseed oil, olive oil, raw butter. I haven't been eating the coconut oil long enough to see a difference yet. But I'm still so anemic I'm not a good guinea pig, lol. Cyndi In a message dated 1/23/2007 6:00:11 A.M. Guest guest
I've made my own soap many times! I love it, it's addictive. I haven't branched out to any other cosmetic products. Good for you for making your own stuff, Kelly! What we put on our bodies is as important as what we put in them. :-) Cyndi In a message dated 1/23/2007 7:40:35 A.M. I use other oils other than coconut but you can look at my label and know what you are applying and I am pretty picky about my ingredients and suppliers. Guest guest
Just recently, I bought a liquid hand soap that is made of two ingredients: coconut oil and Tea tree oil for fragrance. Pretty neat, isn't it? I'm very happy with it How are you making your own soaps???? Barbara I've made my own soap many times! I love it, it's addictive. Guest guest
That IS neat! I didn't know coconut oil was used in a liquid soap. I wonder if I could find a recipe on the net. I just posted about my soapmaking adventures, lol, so I won't repeat it. I haven't done it in a long time, unfortunately. Cyndi In a message dated 1/23/2007 5:35:18 P.M.
