finding local suppliers for meat/dairy

Here's a site some might find helpful for finding local farms that grass feed their animals in your area.

I found a chicken/egg supplier only 5 miles from me. through this site.

Now if I could only find a local honey supplier I'd be happy.

Thanks for the link Cyndi. I didn't find any honey but I did find a local farmer offering CSAs, which is something else I had been looking for, without much luck.

I had heard that consuming honey made locally can help with keeping some environmental allergies in check. Matt has allergies like me I was hoping to find local honey for us to test the theory.

Anybody out there use local honey for this purpose??

Yes, someone on another list told me about this a couple years ago. I do believe it works, at least, it helped me.
