Oh, I know, it's endless...they say the SomerSweet doesn't raise your blood sugar, which is a plus. I don't know that I'll order it again, but I'm glad I tried it. Next I'm going to try that Agave...but I don't know if it raises blood sugar, hmmmmm, more research whether I like it or not, lol.

I have used SomerSweet in the past and found it to be expensive but palatable, in fact really quite good. Probably a little safer to use than many artificial sweeteners as there is less of the bad stuff in it. Not positive though! I got sick of doing research on all this stuff, hahahahaha!

Well, it's not raising my blood sugar, so it can't be all that bad. :)Cyndi

Still, it is a bulking agent and it does have less of the bad stuff. If you' ve got to use an artificial sweetener, it's not so bad. : )

That's all right, Noelle, lol. If we are going to tell all our Secret Food Confessions, I have a deep and abiding love for pasta that defies all attempts to rid it from my life, lol. I've "sort" of gotten used to whole wheat pasta, but it just isn't the same. Mac and cheese is a MAJOR comfort food for me, lol.

I must confess that I use artificial sweeteners, whatever is around. My avoidance of sugar has to do with my teeth more than my weight. I rarely drink a soda any more, but I do drink coffee and that's where I want a couple of teaspoons of something.
