CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! This makes me so happy I could spit and jump and dance!!!! You email explaining how the list came about, re: your lifestyle changes and awareness because of the cancer, well, it gave me real peace Cyndi. When I first learned you had cancer and the type it was, I was REALLY pissed at God/Goddess......in my judgmental human mind and dark heart I could immediately think of 10 other people who I would rather see deal with this. Of course after the initial shouts of anger and tears of disbelief I found scripture in both the Bible and Qur'an to help me calm down, and then read a little Thich Nhat Hanh and came back to center. My reaction to your diagnosis reminded me how far I have to go and I am SO FREAKING HAPPY that this part of the journey, the chemo, is over for you. xoxoxo Noëlle Oh yeah, I am going to bed

It means so much to me to finally see the end of this. Now, the best part begins-the rest of my life. :-) Hugs, Cyndi In a message dated 12/28/2006 1:05:23 P.M. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. <smiles> --Celia-- "Forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and thewinds long to play with your hair." - Kahlil Gibran

Noelle, I asked all the WHY ME questions, and then realized I had a peace about all this that defies explanation. I JUST KNEW it was part of the journey, part of the wake up call I needed to change my life. I think the universe tells you what you need to pay attention to, we just have to learn how to listen to it.

We all have "stuff" to deal with, and the good part is, we don't have to wait for a serious illness or life change in order to find our priorities in life. I look at Steve Irwin's life. He always felt that he would die at an early age, so he made every single day count in his life. He never put off anything that he wanted to do. He had a passion for life that is enviable!
