The baking soda/maple syrup trojan horse theory sounds nuts to me

The problem I have with maple syrup (or honey) and baking soda taken

internally is this. Unless you are dealing with a stomach cancer, the

baking soda and syrup/honey cocktail must first be processed by the

stomach and then carried to the cancer via the blood. The stomach

acids and digestive process breaks food down to the molecular level in

order for it to get into the bloodstream. So, if the syrup or honey

and the baking soda are broken down into molecules, how can there be

any kind of cocktail delivered to the cancer that fools the cancer

into gobbling up the syrup and getting baking soda in the process?

 

Tulio Simoncini is noted for administering bicarbonate of soda

intravenously - and, though he has had some notable success, the

results that have been reported have been widely exaggerated.

 

Unless someone can convince me otherwise, I think baking soda and

added oxygen are fine and I think topical applications of baking soda

and DMSO may be good too, but the whole Trojan Horse idea of maple

syrup dragging baking soda into cancer cells is hogwash - and I see no

sense in feeding your cancer with the extra sugar.
