Hi Rhoda Yes, your have the same thoughts as I. Since I was diagnosed with breast cancer 2 years ago. I went vegan and never looked back, also of course absolutely no refined sugars either. I believe both are conducive to cancer. Have you thought of fresh ground flaxseeds in a smoothie perhaps instead? Since I was told my breast cancer was estrogen receptor postive I tested my estrogen levels. Prior to the flaxseeds it was high, I then tested again after eating them for a few months and my levels had reduced substantially.

Is dairy a connection to hormone positive cancers?

Is this another question to which there is no clearcut answer? Having been doing FOCC for two years, I'm very seriously wondering whether the dairy is part of why I'm not thriving, and whether I should be doing Udo's oils instead of flax oil.I first came across a possible relationship between dairy and hormone-positive cancers from an Internet article by Jane Plant. She claims that breast and prostate cancer were almost unknown in China until Western diet including dairy became rampant, and that when she stopped all dairy products, she could measure a tumor begin to shrink within a week. I came across a study done in the USA about a positive correlation between dairy the amount of dairy consumed and prostate cancer. They claim that it's the natural hormones in all bovine dairy that are the problem, so using organic dairy to prevent rbGH doesn't help. Of course, there are many problems with both these studies. But still, I'm extremely concerned. so any and all discussion is welcome. Rhoda
