Child with inoperable brain stem glioma

I have just read an article in our newspaper about a fund-raiser to be

given for a six-year old boy who has recently been diagnosed with brain

stem glioma. The parents will be taking him to St. Jude's Hospital

where they will start radiation and chemotherapy. I do not know them

but would like to give them information about Oleander. I remember

reading somewhere that it is effective in treating children's brain

cancer, but haven't been able to find that info again.

I am looking for suggestions for helping these poor people. My heart

goes out to them. I want to help them so badly, but am at a loss as to

how to best do that. Not knowing them, I do not know if they are even

open to alternatives, but it seems cruel to withhold this knowledge

from them. They do need to know that there are options.

Please advise.

Hi Betty,

You are so kind to want to help these people. You just never know if they are open to alternative things or not. They could be or they may think they are doing the best they can already. We were in that situation with our son who was 11.. and I was searching for alternative things all by myself while every one was telling me to take him to St. Judes....I knew they had no idea of what they were really telling me to do to "our" son and I still have hard feelings about it sometimes...

I have connections to another group who I am going to mention oleander and OPC (not sure if my abbreviation is correct there) to where they are dealing with children and brain tumors. It would be great if someone tried the OPC and had success. I am currently watching, as many people are I'm sure a girl that had a DIPG brain tumor and had radiation and then an alternative treatment and the tumor is gone now.

I'm sure lots of people are watching and keeping their fingers crossed.

We tried to get into the Burzynski clinic and of course could not because of FDA regulations that standard treatment had to fail first. Very upsetting to say the least.

All you can do is just throw things out sometimes to people and at least you know you tried. Maybe they have a website or e-mail you could get some information to them that way.

:-)

Sadly, from local children and neighbors and fellow citizens stricken

with cancer to the national stories of celebrities, I see such stories

all the time - and it really gets to me. I want to save the world,

but just cannot make it happen. I have written emails and mailed

letters and phoned so many times . . . . and no one wants to believe

that there are any alternatives that are outside mainstream treatments

and drugs.

Despite over 6000 years of mankind using nature to heal and prevent

illness, in only a century we have been brainwashed into believing

that God and nature are quacks and that the only real medicine comes

from unnatural compounds made in the laboratories of man.

Yes, oleander has been very good for brain cancers since it crosses

the blood brain barrier and it is my understanding that some of it's

earliest use and success by Doctor Ozel in Turkey was against brain

cancers in children.
