Guest guest
I just had a brainwave! I wonder how many in this group are finding OPC too expensive for the long haul? I have friends who live in Florida and have gardens. Would it be truly helpful to start an 'oleander underground', of people willing to grow some without pesticides or fertilizer, and ship it at cost or a little above? Perhaps some on this list might grow extra? Speak up if you think this is a good idea, and I'll ask my friends. Rhoda
Guest guest
I find $60 (or$45 for the capsules) including shipping in order to get a pharmaceutical grade product that is a month's supply (and more like 5 month's supply once you go on a maintenance dose) hard to picture as too expensive, but hey, making it yourself was the big reason this group was formed (back when the cheapest other option was $2700 for a three month supply of Anvirzel). My only cautions would be that any such enterprise would have to be conducted entirely outside this group and you would be well advised to label any shipment of oleander " Not intended for human consumption " . Speaking of oleander (either raw material or actual extract) undergrounds - do you suppose that some of those have may have already been around for quite a while now? : ^ ) oleander soup , " Rhoda Mead " <firefly541 wrote: > > I just had a brainwave! Guest guest
Rhoda, Oleander grows wild all over southern California, where I reside. Thousands of homes use it for decorative shrubs as well. The only stuff I'd stay away from has been planted by the state to beautify the highways... coated with auto exhaust and all it contains. Guest guest
Rhoda, In Houston, Texas they have an Oleander Club. They have an Oleander Show once a year and they sell plants there too. Melly
