Guest guest
I am going to start my mom on the soup and inosital/p6. Do I also need to be giving her the OPC along with it? Can she overdoes if she takes too much of this product together? She has an embolism in her lung which the dr has put her on coumadin. As I understand, these products thin the blood so it only makes sense that she should be off the coumadin but how will I know if shes taking too much in terms of her blood getting too thin? I guess having a dr regulate her blood. I apologize if Im asking repetitive questions but its a very difficult time right now trying to find mom some help, Im very impressed with what Ive read about this and hope that this will help my mom. Im a little nervous about making the soup in terms of it being dangerous to make. Id appreciate a little encouragement from those of you who have made it and havent had any problems. I certainly dont want to make it wrong and hurt my mom or myself. Where can I get the oleander plant and the inosital/p6? Thanks for all your help...you can email me directly....Kathleen
Guest guest
Bless your heart Kathleen, as your mother is on coumadin, I am afraid that oleander is not an option, Here is an important note: As oleander's cardiac glycosides do cross assay with digoxen/digitalis, anyone on those drugs or blood thinningmedication should not use oleander. However, Tony's Anti-Cancer Protocol in itself is a marvelous tool for beating cancer. Minus the oleander. IP6 is a powerful cancer fighter. Yes, by all means use that, read Tony's protocol and we are here for support and any questions you may have. The best source of supplements that I have found is from Utopia Silver They are the best quality that I have found anywhere and actually I could write book on the personal benefits I have encountered. Actually, if you check some posts I think I have. Being a member of this group entitles you to a 15% discount on supplements not on sale when you enter Code LR001. Please do not be disappointed on reading that oleander is not an option for your mom. I cared for my mother for four years and I know I would have been disappointed. The bottom line to ridding oneself of cancer is addressing the cancer from its source by addressing the immune system and changing one's lifestyle to a completely healthy one. Please read the articles and materials in the "Files" section to the left and read Tony's Anti Cancer Protocol first and foremost. Here is the link. A Natural Anti-Cancer Protocol Kathleen, I wish you all the best and I want you to know that we are here for you and your mother in every way possible. Guest guest
Actually, though it was I who wrote the cautionary note, I am going to disagree for two reasons: One, just like the outdated list of herbs from MD Anderson that " may " conflict with oleander, I opted to act far on the side of caution. The truth is that an average dose of oleander is only about 1/40th of a normal dose of digoxin/digitalis, and anyone taking those medications, other cardiac glycosides or blood thinning agents, should be able to tolerate oleander. If it were myself, I would begin with very small doses of oleander and work my way up (something I recommend everyone does anyway) and secondly, I would reduce my other medications mentioned above a bit. Secondly, when one is talking about pancreatic cancer that has metastisized, I really think it is wrong to say that the hope oleander has should be denied them. There is precious little that is effective against pancreatic cancer, especially longterm. Oleander is one of the very few with a good track record. In the end, I think it comes down to personal choice and caution. My choice would be to cautiously use the oleander. oleander soup , " May " <luellamay129 wrote: > > > Bless your heart Kathleen, as your mother is on coumadin, I am afraid > that oleander is not an option, > > Here is an important note: As oleander's cardiac glycosides do cross > assay with digoxen/digitalis, anyone on those drugs or blood thinning > medication should not use oleander. > > However, Tony's Anti-Cancer Protocol in itself is a marvelous tool for > beating cancer. Guest guest
Thanks , I was wondering though, my mom is off the coumadin now. She is coming back from California and had too high levels so they took her off of it till she gets back to Kansas. Right now her blood levels are 1.7 which is in the normal ranges so I'm thinking that if she doesnt go back on it since the oleander thins blood, wouldnt that take the place of coumadin. Im planning on having her blood monitored very closely with hospice so we ll know exactly where its at. Thanks....Kathleen oleander soup , " May " <luellamay129 wrote: > > > Bless your heart Kathleen, as your mother is on coumadin, I am afraid > that oleander is not an option, > > Here is an important note: As oleander's cardiac glycosides do cross > assay with digoxen/digitalis, anyone on those drugs or blood thinning > medication should not use oleander. > > However, Tony's Anti-Cancer Protocol in itself is a marvelous tool for > beating cancer. Guest guest
Hi Kathleen, Since my last posting, Tony has contacted me and explained to me the actual correlation between oleander and the medications discussed in our prior posts. I tend to always be overly cautious and go by the " book. " However, your mother's cancer is a serious one and quite severe. I wholeheartedly agree with his post. Follow his instructions and don't hesitate to ask questions. Guest guest
Thank you so much Tony and , I've gotten the info off the files and am reading the info today. I wish I had found you months ago. One more question, I know says he makes all of his preparations so is it more effective if you make it as opposed to using the OPC? Also, should I give them both to mom, the soup and the OPC or just one of them? Thanks...Kathleen oleander soup , " May " <luellamay129 wrote: > > I just posted retracting my previous statement. Guest guest
The doctor would probably not appreciate this, but natural vitamin E is as good a blood thinner as coumadin and non-toxic; coumadin is definitely a toxic therapeutic agent. Try discussing the substitution with your doctor. It would be a good idea to search the internet first for articles published in medical journals and have these references handy to give the doctor when you speak with him.Dr. GoebelPS GOOD LUCK!kathleenwendi <hdriders wrote: I am going to start my mom on the soup and inosital/p6. Guest guest
Kathleen, I understand your hesitancy about making the soup. I felt the same way when I did it. After all, it can mean life or death to someone so you want to be sure you make it right. It's simple really. I wore a glove on the hand that held the branches when I cut them, to be safe. But truly, the directions are simple and easy to follow. The hardest part is straining the soup! :-) It took a bit of doing to set up 4 strainers and keep the paper towels all lined up. Then when I strained through coffee filters I didn't have 4 holders the right size for that, mainly because my coffee maker uses those cone shaped filters. So they wouldn't stand in the strainers. Next time I'll make sure to buy regular, flat bottomed coffee filters to make it easier. But if you have access to an oleander bush, do make the soup. You'll be glad you did when you are done. Samala, Renee ---- ..
