Bob,

I don't understand the hype here......boswellia was administered after the tumors were removed. Boswellia is an anti-inflammatory. Inflammation can be a "basic" cause to heart disease and cancer, but the article simply states that symptoms associated with these brain cancers were lowered.

Yes, anyone with cancer or who's inflammation index is high should be taking a good anti-inflammatory, but I'm not sure we should be talking about amazing success on brain cancers just yet.

By the way, NOW foods has one of the best and cheapest on the market. Buying Boswellia is one way to help save the rainforest. If we harvest the rainforest, then they won't cut them down.

Myrrh and Frankincense are from tree sap. If you've ever been to a Catholic mass in which they brought out the Frankincense.....well, that's not the good stuff.

I watched Frankincense in the middle east being collected. They would scrap the tree, then come back later, and peal off the beads that formed and hardened. This was the worst stuff. They'd scrape again, and then come back and collect. The BEST stuff was from the 9th scraping.

The catholic church got the worst stuff, and the rest of America got the next to the worst stuff, because they all felt that Americans would buy anything.

The best is golden in color, and very clear.

Oh, and Frankincense kills cancer cells. Some people take a drop a day of frankincense essential oil as a preventive.

Hi Bob and David, Thanks for the info about boswellia. I understood the article to mean they did give it before surgery and it had reduced the size or decreased tumor size and the MRI pictures are great. I have heard of how it can help with inflammation which is a big plus in hopefully not having to take steroids should you have problems with increased pressure due to growth etc. I found this article very interesting and had not come across it. Yes, knowing about boswellia would have helped in our situation...had I known about it. The increased pressure alone causes many problems. I didn't realize they had such success with it. Thanks for all info and thanks tony for the link! Carla

ahzoov,

There is no hype here. The tumors showed remarkable regression in only a few days after the administration of boswellia serrata... the evidence is there for all to see. I'm not suggesting for a minute that oleander or IP6 be avoided... to the contrary I think the boswellia would be a useful adjunct for anyone suffering from brain cancer, not a stand alone treatment by any means.
