Guest guest
I have been following these discussions for the past 2 weeks and am begining to get the gist of what is reccomended. I am a volunteer driver for a cancer support group; one of the women I drive for has had oesophageal ca. treated with surgery, chemo and radiotherapy. She now has secondaries in the lung. Surgery and laser therapy have been looked into and ruled out. There is no more standard chemo. She has done one trial chemo and has been offered another. Otherwise there is no further treatment that can be offered. I have finally convinced her to look at 'alternative' methods. I took her to an alternative Dr. who offered her IV sodium bicarbonate; however, that would involve inserting an infusaport into her chest and she is naturally reluctant to do that. Nothing else was offered. I have been reading up on the oleander. The Anvirzel would be out of the question because of the cost; she has very little money. That leaves 'the soup'! Oleander is a plant that grows abundantly here (Western Australia), but I would probably have to make it and that scares me because I am not the one going to drink it!! Is there anybody reading this who lives in W.A. and has experience of the oleander? This woman is relying on me to advise her!!! Help!!! From what I have read: Diet : Oleander : OPC : IP6 : MMS : What about B17? Some sort of clorophyl - Barley Grass or Spirulina or whatever? Anyone that can advise me? Thanks, Mary
Guest guest
I will only reply to the taste of olender soup part of your message. Others will be around to address the rest. Let me give you an exerpt from Tony's recipe. Avoiding the Bitter Taste When you take the oleander soup, the bitter taste comes when you swallow and not when you hold it under your tongue prior to swallowing (there are no taste buds UNDER the tongue). Some prefer to flavor their soup with substances like pancake syrup or concentrated grape seed extract (a good choice!). The way the author avoids the bitter taste is to divide the dosage in half and mix half in a glass of grape juice with grapeseed extract, pomegranate juice, blueberry juice, acai juice, or some combination and then put half under the tongue and h old it there until time to swallow. Then, before you swallow, take a gulp of the juice mix and swallow all at once. You do not notice the bitterness nearly as much this way, and the other half of the dose is sufficiently diluted to barely be noticeable and not be unpleasant at all. This really works. If you need any help making the soup, please be sure and pop in. Hugs,
Guest guest
Mary I was so scared about making and having my stepdad drink the Oleander Soup too, I decided I would drink it first just in case and I did- this was on 12/14/07 and he is doing great and I am too. But I know exactly what you are feeling! Even after researching it for a month I was sick with worry, but now I am so happy we did it. He is doing extremely well, especially given that he only had around 6 months. The OPC from http://www.sutherlandiaopc.com is much cheaper($45-60/month) than the Anvirzel in case you don't want to make the soup.
