PHARMACUTICAL GRADE WILL COME ONLY IN GLASS BOTTLES... and it is not cheap..... but make sure it is pharm grade and does NOT come in plastic... do a search for england for retailers or distributors... Both, however, contain the very necessary sulphur that our bodies need. They may have similar properties but DMSO is much more potent in its activities. You should always, always, always use DMSO that comes as pure as possible, this means pharmaceutical grade, and this only comes in glass bottles. Never use DMSO that comes from plastic bottles. EVER!!! MSM is a powder that comes from the inner bark of pine trees. It is not truly organic as it needs chemicals to extract it. DMSO is also not truly organic as it is a by-product of pulp mills where they produce paper and lumber. They can both be obtained in extremely pure form. MSM is a powder and DMSO is a liquid. If you wish more info then either check out the message archives, files or do a web search and educate yourselves. Both materials are extremely safe and beneficial to the human body for the sulphur they contain. DMSO is also beneficial for the fact that it will carry anything on your skin into your body. This can be a plus or a negative depending on what is on your skin at the time. It is also stated by Doc Ian Shillington that DMSO has the ability to realign your DNA back to its natural state. It is the only kind I use either straight or when mixed in my formulae. Medicinally, you are playing Russian Roulette using any other kind. It says it is 99% pure. It comes in a plastic bottle with some sort of hard inner lining, maybe this is to prevent the plastic leakage. Can anyone perform any test with this and see if this stuff is legit. The consensus on the other lists is that industrial grade can be used. Obvioulsy one must be careful with DMSO, reagrdless if it is medicial or industrial grade... I have an extra bottle I will ship out if someone can verify if this stuff works also. I heard medical grade is way over priced. And what I have written above is only what I have heard and read. I don't know the answers but I am just trying to provoke some stimulating conversations and trying to learn some more. In 2006 we fiund out that I had a large tumor in my adominal cavity, numerous tumors in my breast, and 1 tumor in each arm, and that I had every symptom of stage 4 Non-Hodgekins Lymphoma. My doctor wanted to start testing me for cancer, but I would not let him. I knew that biopsies and CT scans could be dangerous if the cancer was very advanced and aggressive, and all of my symptoms suggested that it was. At first I was on a strict diet of mostly raw fruits and vegetables, I was eating apricot seeds, I was drinking raw juices, doing colon cleanses and taking whole food vitamins. But all of this only slowed everything down some. My illness was too advanced and aggressive for these things to reverse it. In December of 06 the tumor in my abdominal cavity was the size of a bowling ball, and everyone thought I was going to die and my family was starting to talk about my funeral. Then my Dad found out about DMSO on the internet. My Dad bought a bottle of DMSO at a health food store. I started taking 1 tsp a day mixed in a glass of water and within 3 days I was getting my strength and energy back and within 2 months, the tumor in my abdominal cavity shrunk 50%, and most of all of my other tumors were gone. When I went back to the doctor, he told me to go home and keep doing what I was doing. I went back to work a few months later and had to cut way down on my dosage of the DMSO because it has a smell like garlic. A few months after that I had to have a TB vaccine because I wanted to volunteer at a nursing home. 2 months later, the tumor in my abdominal cavity tripled in size in one week, and I was feeling very week, tired, and sick to my stomach all the time again. I had to take 3 days off from work. I was really afraid I was dying again so I asked my Dad to give a 2 mil shot of 70% DMSO and 30% water. (I had always drank the DMSO before this, but I had heard that the shots were more effective, and I was hoping I would only have to take one and the smell would be gone before I had to go back to work in a few days.) The shot did work wonderfully, but at first I thought it was going to kill me. When Dad gave me the shot, it went straight to my head. I got a headache and became light headed and dizzy. Then I became partially paralyzed on my right side, I started having shortness of breath and felt like I was going to pass out. Dad carried me to the couch and then I started shaking. After about 10 minutes, I was fine. Three days later, I was able to go back to work. Within 1 week, the tumor had shrunk back down to the size it was before it had started growing again. I continued taking the 1 shot a week and never again had a bad reaction like the first one. Although, the shots did always burn really bad at the injection site. I would scream for about 5 minutes after each shot. Apparently, the 1 shot a week was not enough and I began to slowly get worse again. I finally had to quit my job in December. I am now back to drinking 1-2 tsp a day mixed in a glass of water. The tumor is now only the size of a baseball and I feel good most of the time.
