,

I just wanted to share that I had a disfiguring facial rash that left scarring. My naturopath told me to do the vitamin E oil thing, I then had a face with lesser scars but huge pores, really the size of giant craters. I went to a skin specialist who said you should NEVER put oil on your face, because huge pores are the exact result. She gave me organic vitamin K cream and it is doing the job. Just wanted to let you know that, because you may have some website readers who end up, like I did, looking worse instead of better.

Look Younger With Natural Glowing Skin

I find that not only "Boomers" but women of all ages constantly look for ways to achieve that younger look. Could it be that perennial quest for the "Fountain of Youth?" Actually, that "Fountain of Youth" may be closer than you think.

Nature makes all things possible. Even looking younger. Take a look.............

Bless your heart Margaret. You have been through so much. If you don't mind my asking, what caused that rash in the first place?

Tony's Collected Home and Herbal Remedies is quite comprehensive and does include remedies for scarring, which lists first and foremost the use of Vitamin K.

/Scars_and_Stretch_Marks.htm

We also list remedies for Skin Rashes, Eczema and are working on Psoriasis as we speak.

/Skin_Allergies_and_Skin_Rash.htm

/eczema.htm

Thank you so much for your input. Please feel free to look through all the different remedies. They are growing daily.

Hugs,

How very interesting. And my heart goes out to you. This must have

been nothing less than a traumatic ordeal to live through. Did you

have any other symptoms, such as fever, painful joints, etc.? And I

will tell you why I ask.

Although I know that supposedly only children get Kawasaki's Disease,

which is a very rare oriental disease, your rash with sores sounds

very familiar.

When my daughter was seven years old, she contracted this disease

which has a wide array of symptoms and one was that rash with the

sores you described, but hers was throughout her body.

I will say that I consider myself blessed in the fact that Veronica

is the only child that I know of whose heart was not affected. And

this is very touching to me because she was such a premie with

complications and almost did not live. I remember praying to God,

please let me have her for a little while and when she came down with

this disease, I thought, oh no..... is my little while up? And I

prayed again if God saw fit to let me have her a little bit longer,

and she recovered with not a side effect from this pretty dreadful

disease. She was extremely ill for three months, and then she started

to get better.

Well, looks like I got off track a bit. I know this is a longshot,

especially since as far as I've read it is a childhood disease, but

that rash with sores rings a very loud bell.

I am so glad you are doing well now.

Hugs,

Normally large pores in the nose, face or facial skin are created one

of two ways: The first is through aggressive squeezing of blackheads

and whiteheads, which stretches the pore. The second is heavy sebum

production. When the sebaceous gland produces large volumes of sebum,

the pore is forced to expand to release the oil and is therefore enlarged.

I suppose that large pores could result from using oils, but the ones

I recommended, especially grape seed oil and coconut are wonderful for

the skin. Another oil, jojoba, actually helps prevent large pores.

Enlarge pores are part of the natural aging process and/or oily skin

that has been over dried, forcing dead skin cells to harden in the

pores and stretch them, and so it is a good idea for people with oily

skin to nevertheless keep it moisturized.

For some of us, enlarged pores are a daily cosmetic annoyance. The

good news is that there are ways to minimise their appearance and

smooth out your complexion

Home remedies for the treatment and care for large pores:

Mix almond meal with enough water to make a paste. Apply to pores for

20 minutes. Rinse with warm water, then apply witch hazel or a

solution of apple cider vinegar and water.

Bran and Grapefruit is also used to tightens large pores.

Mix table salt and buttermilk into a paste, apply on enlarged pores

and massage well. Rinse with warm water.

If enlarged pores are due to blackheads stretching the entrance of the

pore, then firstly remove blackheads using one of the above methods,

then to contract pores, blend (one or your preferred mixture) of

camphor, sage and / or thyme in a base of jojoba oil. Use as a

compress or mix in with your moisturiser and apply to affected areas.

Jojoba is easily absorbed into the skin and balances oil levels (which

may assist in reducing blackheads as sebum production is regulated).

Tips on reducing large pores

The best you can do is keep pores debris-free with thorough cleansing,

exfoliation, masks and professional facials - all will help make pores

appear slightly smaller.

Thanks Tony,

I think it was just that the oil from the vit E capsule was so thick it was clogging my pores. OK, so I am 50, I drink more than a gallon of water a day and I can't keep enough moisture in my skin. Yes, I drink caffiene, and I know it's counterproductive, but I am hooked. What do you think is the best moisturizer? What about spider veins? And finally, what do you do with the bran and grapefruit, eat it or use it topically?

But aesthetics is not really the reason that I joined this board, so here is my story and where I need help. I am the moderator of a board that suffers from a rare (read this that the drug companies don't care to even try to develop drugs because it doesn't affect enough people) form of cancer called Adrenal Cortical Carcinoma, or cancer of the adrenal gland. You will most often see me call it ACC. I am also the daughter of a victim of ACC. I watched my father's quality of life dwindle to nothing before he died. My sister had a brain tumor and despite my begging her to look at alternatives or Antineoplastins, she went to a huge institution and during the course of the surgery suffered a major cerebral hemmorage. She now has no quality of life, and she still has brain cancer.

So, I have studied every known alternative and have brought my board LDN, IPT, Burzynski, pH miracle, MN naturopathics, and other agents and clinics that have documented proof of alternative, complimentary, immune or other approaches that have helped stage 4 aggressive cancers. I give them links to cancer tutor and Moss reports and every other credible site that explains all the alternatives out there and I spend hours weeding out the quack claims. Still.... The only person on our board that is now NED without chemo did a naturopathic approach. The rest of the stage 4 people are either dead, or in the process of dying. While our people are post op we tell them to investigate and get a plan in place for when it returns, not IF it returns. We stress nutrition, and they agree. And they put a plan in place. And then the cancer returns and the next thing you know they say, oh I am going on the harshest chemo known to man, even though I have not seen it EVER work on anyone with this (or any other) cancer.

I think what happens is that the doctors call evidence of natural remedies "anecdotal" and even when there is scientific evidence and trials, as with oleander. BUT, for some odd reason, so many of my members go to the doctors office saying, they are going to discuss their plan with the doctors and come home being talked out of it. I say, and I mean this lovingly, that they get "scared stupid" by the doctors. So, I have been joining cancercured, cancervictory, ldn and any other credible board in hopes of bringing them a success story. And I pull my hair out that they try 4 different kinds of chemo over the course of a very short period of time and then come back and ask about some of these other methods, but by then their immune system is trashed, and nothing would help. And we lose them. And I am so sad and so frustrated.

Can any of you help with success stories, maybe even telling how scary it was for you to go against doctors orders, maybe even telling how you stuck with it even if the cancer aggressed a little while on it? We have had some people go natural, but then when they aren't cured after a short period of time they panic and go to chemo. If they would just stick with it a bit longer, it may have worked.

Thanks,

Margaret

My ordeal wasn't that bad, compared to what alot of people are going through or what you went through almost losing a child, every parent's worst nightmare.

You know, this whole thing had sudden onset, and both my hips are affected by swelling and pain, but since my mom had hip pain start at the same age, I figured it was just genetic.

I know that nature offers us many cures, traditional western medicine a few that are worthwhile, but I still think genetics plays a huge role. You can't fool DNA

Take care all,

Margaret

In today's world, where we live in the midst of chemtrails, toxins, processed and genetically modified foods, almost anything can surface.

And yes, you just answered my question, you did have swelling and pain in your hips with that. How very curious. And doctors couldn't figure it out. And to that I say, what a surprise. ahem.

Please don't think that you are stuck with the hip or any other condition because of being 50, DNA, etc. You can indeed become free of these conditions, I firmly believe it. I was my mother's caregiver for four years and her death found me physically and emotionally wasted. I had fibromyalgia, asthma, depression, panic and anxiety, I was on about three inhalers, Paxil, and other medications.

Little by little I found health, changed my diet, found supplements, exercised, and changed my entire lifestyle and way of thinking. A year later I was medication free. It is so very possible.

I don't know what your diet is like, but diet is very important. Of course, no sugars, etc. and if you can do a diet of raw foods and fasting, this will clean out your system.

What I would suggest for those hips is colloidal gold. That will fix you right up and actually will address other conditions.

For starters I would take a good multivitamin/multimineral.

Grapeseed Extract

CoQ10 (very important) This works on a cellular level and is good for so many aspects of your health, including metabolism.

Bromelain

Flaxseed Oil

And Coconut Oil. I use it in place of butter actually.

garlic.

And exercise. Do something you consider fun, or you won't do it.

Last but not least, natural apple cider vinegar with raw honey. one tablespoon of each. This. in itself, has wonderful healing qualities.

I don't mean to preach, and forgive me if I am doing this, but never say never. You deserve total health and the best and happiest lifestyle possible. We all do.

If you have difficulty locating colloidal gold and I do have to recommend Utopia Silver, as it is the highest quality you could find.

Here is the link for your convenience. Just click on it.

UTOPIA SILVER

Also, just put in LR001 in the code section and you will get a discount if the product is not on sale.

And actually, if memory serves me they are having a 2 for 1 special for first time customers.

Hugs,

I am going to be out of town for a week or so. When I return I will

make an effort to dig up some of the success stories. They are here if

you look for them, and there are a great many others. Marc Swanepoel

probably has at least 100 by now - which is virtually every single

person in South Africa who has taken the his OPC supplements for

cancer over the past 4 years. ALL of them have survived and are

either cancer free or have cancers shrinking and in remission. The

only exceptions are three people in their last few days who could not

hold down the supplement or anything else, five who succumbed to major

organ failure as a likely result of prior chemo (you are so very right

in all you observe in your message) and two whose cancers went away

only to return when they stopped taking the OPC and went back to their

old lifestyles (both of whom are now back on OPC).

There are a great number of alternatives to mainstream therapies and

you listed some good ones. What NONE of them can say is that they are

even close to as potent of an immune stimulator as oleander. It is far

and away the most potent immune stimulator known to man. No doubt

that is why it is 100% successful against HIV and the reason for much

of its success against cancer - though immune boosting is far from all

that it does.

For whatever reason, it seems difficult to get older members to check

in and post their success stories. On the other hand, when you search

back to the beginning, what you do not find are failures when anyone

has taken oleander and stayed with it. That speaks volumes I think.

Best thing I can come up with for spider veins is to limit salt intake

and apply Vitamin K cream (this vitamin is not normally taken orally

except through a physician). Vitamin K causes the blood seepage in the

area to clot, like a scab forming on a wound, so the tear can heal.

Depending on the severity of your spider veins, skin type and activity

levels, you will see results in as little as 8-14 days to 6-8 weeks

when used twice daily.

Major food sources for Vitamin K include green leafy vegetables, such

as spinach, green cabbage, kale, Swiss chard, turnip greens, broccoli,

tomatoes, liver and lean meats and dairy products.

You folks behave yourselves while I am gone - lol,

of water a day and I can't keep enough moisture in my skin. Yes, I

drink caffiene, and I know it's counterproductive, but I am hooked.

What do you think is the best moisturizer? What about spider veins?

And finally, what do you do with the bran and grapefruit, eat it or

use it topically?

here is my story and where I need help. I am the moderator of a

board that suffers from a rare (read this that the drug companies

don't care to even try to develop drugs because it doesn't affect

enough people) form of cancer called Adrenal Cortical Carcinoma, or

cancer of the adrenal gland. You will most often see me call it ACC.

I am also the daughter of a victim of ACC. I watched my father's

quality of life dwindle to nothing before he died. My sister had a

brain tumor and despite my begging her to look at alternatives or

Antineoplastins, she went to a huge institution and during the course

of the surgery suffered a major cerebral hemmorage. She now has no

quality of life, and she still has brain cancer.

>

> So, I have studied every known alternative and have brought my board

LDN, IPT, Burzynski, pH miracle, MN naturopathics, and other agents

and clinics that have documented proof of alternative, complimentary,

immune or other approaches that have helped stage 4 aggressive

cancers. I give them links to cancer tutor and Moss reports and every

other credible site that explains all the alternatives out there and I

spend hours weeding out the quack claims. Still.... The only person

on our board that is now NED without chemo did a naturopathic

approach. The rest of the stage 4 people are either dead, or in the

process of dying. While our people are post op we tell them to

investigate and get a plan in place for when it returns, not IF it

returns. We stress nutrition, and they agree. And they put a plan in

place. And then the cancer returns and the next thing you know they

say, oh I am going on the harshest chemo known to man, even though I

have not seen it EVER work on anyone with this (or any other) cancer.

>

> I think what happens is that the doctors call evidence of natural

remedies " anecdotal " and even when there is scientific evidence and

trials, as with oleander. BUT, for some odd reason, so many of my

members go to the doctors office saying, they are going to discuss

their plan with the doctors and come home being talked out of it. I

say, and I mean this lovingly, that they get " scared stupid " by the

doctors. So, I have been joining cancercured, cancervictory, ldn and

any other credible board in hopes of bringing them a success story.

And I pull my hair out that they try 4 different kinds of chemo over

the course of a very short period of time and then come back and ask

about some of these other methods, but by then their immune system is

trashed, and nothing would help. And we lose them. And I am so sad

and so frustrated.

>

> Can any of you help with success stories, maybe even telling how

scary it was for you to go against doctors orders, maybe even telling

how you stuck with it even if the cancer aggressed a little while on

it? We have had some people go natural, but then when they aren't

cured after a short period of time they panic and go to chemo. If

they would just stick with it a bit longer, it may have worked.

Here are a couple from my email. At one time I had many more, but lost

a domain name (and the email that went with it) to some unscrupulous

internet service:

We saw the Oncologist last Friday and got a copy of the CT Scan which

was done on 1-3-07.

This is a quote: " Approximately 20% overall decrease in size of

central mass and associated obstructive pneumonia or atelectasis of

left upper lobe since previous study of January 2006. No new CT

evidence of metastatic disease. No significant pleural effusion. CT

abdomen negative for metastatic disease.

Needless to say, we are ecstatic over this news. Edward doess take

Anvirzel and oleander Soup now regularly. We sent a copy of the

report to Dennis so that he can forward it to Honduras. Looks like

the oleander is working wonders. Again, many thanks for all your help.

Love Always,

Sara and Edward

------------------------------

My wonderful niece Judi asked how we are doing and I remembered that

I haven't given an update lately So here it goes. Overall we both feel

well and are happy. A more detailed as to my medical accomplishments are:

The pet scan showed all Gist Cancer was removed and I was Gist

Cancer free. However it showed two other possibilities,

1. Suspected colon Cancer.

Joy and I chanted that the colonosphy on January 22nd would have good

results. Afterward Dr Nasr said Bill you have no colon Cancer.

2. I had a stroke sometimes in the past. It must have been a silent

one as I see no negative impact. But, my Doctor scheduled an MRI with

special enhancement for my head on February 6,2008. Also, We are

chanting for those results to be good!

It looks like more rain for us. 2 days ago we were above our normal

rainfall. Today our chances for rain are 100% .

Joy had a wonderful time in Florida at our SGI-USA FNCC.

We hope all is well with you guys/y'll and your many friends!

Bill and Joy

There are many more - I will see if I can find some. Some of the old

time members here not only have their own success stories, but also

know of many others - if only they would check in every once in awhile

(but some of them have answered similar appeals multiple times

already). Just guessing here, but maybe in some instances, it is like

once you beat cancer you really don't want to revisit the fears and

struggles? Kind of like cancer was an ugly invader that violated your

body and you want to move on and put it in the past? Make sense?
