Hi Chris:

My name is Tammy and I recently joined your list after visiting your web

site. I'm not sure yet how it works, but I thought I'd say hey, I don't want

to be a 'lurker' forever :)

I live in Georgia and have been interested in and using e.o.'s for about 5

years now. I always enjoy discovering new uses (new to me anyway) for oils.

I have also started getting into herbs, and had a bit of an herb garden this

year. And I'm looking forward to using some of my dried herbs this winter

(rosemary, oregano, sage).

I look forward to possibly having something to contribute to the list at

some point :)! Bye for now.

Tammy

proud Mama to 3 very active children! I already use a ton of EOs and

everything else " alternative " but I'm hoping to get more ideas here.

Thanks!

Thanks for the welcome!

I am with you on that--I don't know what else to use! Give me my Tea

Tree EO over bleach any day! :-) When we had our well dug for our new

house, they had to pour like, 100 gallons--maybe not that much but you

get the idea--into the new tank and then we had to let it run out and

all this stuff. Well, after a day they said it was all out and shut off

the water--we could still smell the bleach every time we turned on the

water for a WEEK after! People would come in and say, " I don't smell

it. " That's how " not-used " to bleach we are. But then people come in and

smell my TT EO and they are like, " What is that?? " LOL

Marilyn,

Thanks for the welcome & all the great ideas. Where in FL do you live? We lived in Sanford for a short time when we were newlyweds(18 years ago). My brother lives in Casselberry, just north of Orlando.

I doubt that a great scent would make my hubby(Doug) want to clean. He is a grease monkey and likes the smell of motor oil and carb cleaner(YUCKY)!!!!! He does really like my Sandal wood scent though......who knows maybe this will be the start of something wonderful!!!! LOL

Will have to check on the laundry soaps you mentioned. Thanks again.

TeeHee, I am out of bed - legally *LOL*

And I just got all that Hawaiian red salt in, so now I am bagging that up and sending it out, and working my butt off to get out all these last minute holiday goodies to folks (still waiting for my stupid wooden bath scoops to arrive though!!! they are holding up the works here!) and working on getting out my gift to my elf partner - who isn't a secret, its Judy in OK who got stiffed last year by some turd ;-p, and about to put Cornish hens in the oven, and wrapping gifts for the relatives, and putting up X-mas decorations (I still need to get the tree though) .. and will I ever learn ... NO! The Colonel - Butch - (SALUTE) - is right, a fluttering birdie, that is me!!! *grinz*

Hello everyone! My name is Donna & I am new to the group & very pleased to

be here. The group was recommended to me by Ro, so a big thanks to her for

pointing me in your direction...I see another familiar name!! Hi Sharon!!

I am also a member of the Katy Soapers group & am waiting to hear from the

HASM group to see if I've been accepted to be a part of that group.

I live in Victoria (our hometown), about 130 miles to the west of Houston.

But I know Houston well, since I lived in the area until about 3 years ago

when DH was transferred to St. Croix, one of the US Virgin Islands. I came

home the end of October of last year & DH came home the end of February this

year. We are sooooo glad to be home!! (Texas)

Been making soap for about a year & a half...and am now branching out to

other products. I've been doing alot of research on using ingredients that

are as close to natural as possible or else are considered non-toxic.

I would love to have lunch with you guys too!! I'm always looking for an

excuse to come to Houston!!

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!! donna
