Guest guest
Actually, Tony, there is no WEEKLY digest, only: individual, DAILY digest, special notices, and no messages (read at site). The daily digest, however, is very convenient -- you get only ONE email a day, containing ALL the messages for the day, and a subject listing at the beginning. AND, in the FULL FEATURED format (hmm, that's an alliteration), you can click on a subject heading in the initial listing and be taken right to the message you want (e.g., " Pig Brains " ). After reading, hit your " back " key and you're back at the table of contents. How convenient! (Ahh, the wonders of technology.) Helpful RB P.S. The link for all this is: oleander soup : Edit Membership http://health.oleander soup/join [it also appears at the bottom each message ( " Edit your membership " )] P.P.S. Just for the record: The reason I posted that " Pig Brains " article is because it described a " mad cow " -like illness suddenly emerging among slaughterhouse workers. Not an insignificant issue! Posted by: " Tony " Fri Feb 8, 2008 10:07 am (PST) There is a very easy solution: only read the topics that interest you! If anyone has a problem with the number of emails you are receiving, all you have to do is log in and edit their preferences for this group. Instead of receiving emails for each message, you can choose to just receive daily digests, weekly digests, or no emails at all. While you are at it, I suggest changing your prefences to " full featured " so you do not miss the graphics and better layout of some of the article I and others post here.
