Can you explain a bit further what you mean by " in liver failure " ? Hs

his liver failed, is it in the process of failing according to his

doctors, meaning getting worse? And if so, how far gone do they say it is?

The liver is rather amazing in it's power's to regenerate - and can be

virtually destroyed down to about 27% and still completely regenerate.

My first suggestion is to take at look at the Berkson clinical study at

http://tbyil.com/berkson.htm

where milk thistle (silymarin), alpha lipoic acid and selenium, along

with healthy changes in diet, lifestyle and exercise was 100%

successful with three women who faced transplants, harsh chemo or death.

Beet juice and coconut oil are also good for the liver, as is a diet

that is mostly raw vegetable and some raw fruits - at least until the

liver is healthy again, and I would consider liver cleanses as well.

Finally, the main subject of this group, oleander, has been very

beneficial for liver regeneration and protection as well in my opinion.

Welcome to the group,

What you are doing sounds pretty good. Certainly the milk thistle is

- I am not that familiar with the other items, though I wonder a bit

about the cottage cheese when the liver is supposedly " in failure "

(and I know that it and flaxseed oil are part of the Budwig diet I

have great respect for).

Insofar as feeling bad, there is a thing called the Herxheimer Effect,

where the healing makes you feel worse before you feel better (there

is an article here in the files section and one on my website I

pointed you to earlier.

Excessive sleeping can be a sign of the body healing itself.

Again, what did the doctors say regarding his liver being " in failure " ?

I will be happy to chat when time permits.

Hello, This is Ivan konstantinov back again. May be this can help see your selves and research more. Here I tell you about Philip Perjiy an immigrant from Moldova ( one of the former Soviet Union Republics). He lives presently here in California Sacramento more exactly Rancho Cordova. He is Moldovian man He doesn't try to learn English due to his age (over sixty) So you wouldn't be able to contact him. His daughter is married and lives separately though sees him and mom all the time. You will have to rely solely on what I tell you. Again do some research on what I tell here. Philip had failing liver when he was some forty plus years old, he is Christian and couldn't understand why as he never used to drink.(except water) The professor who saw him told him that they have some drugs

and could fix him temporarily which was not what Philip wanted. Then the professor told him I will tell you to do something but you have to keep you mouth shut because as a doctor of medicine I can not do such "prescriptions" The professor told Philip to eat every day up to two pounds of dark plums that are of oval shape. Though plums are very strong laxative Philip managed to eat them every day for over three months. His liver completely regenerated from what he tells. Again I do not push anybody for any type of remedy just share the experience of what has been told. And Philip is credible of trust source.
