There really is no basis in chemotherapy to say that this chemo WILL work on YOUR cancer, rather it is generally like throwing spaghetti on the wall to see if it sticks. However, this particular trial, with offices in every region, has basis IF you are going to select chemo. Through tumor biopsy, this trial does molecular profiling on your specific tissue, to identify dna/rna markers, protiens, that are specific to you. Then, it searches for chemos and other compounds that are targeted to work for YOU. I have a friend that used a fairly mild chemo intended for myeloma patients to cure his adrenal cancer. He had almost no side effects. Even IF you decide to use natural compounds, knowing if your tumor is topo2 positive, brac, tkn, etc.... can help you select the right natural compounds based upon clinical trials that have occured on the natural compounds and what they target. This is the most sensible approach I have seen, and just because it gives you target chemos, it doesn't necessarily mean you have to use them. http://www.clinicaltrials.gov/ct/show/NCT00530192?order=1 [Clinical Trial: Molecular Profiling Protocol (SCRI-CA-001)] Good Luck, Margaret
