Tony and anyone who has information,

This is a follow-up from the man that is making OS out in California.

He has made the OS and took two doses on Wednesday (yesterday). He

called me last night and said he was feeling very tired all day. I

asked him to check his pulse. It was 34!!! This is not normal.

Normal for the guy is 65-70 beats per minute. I have seen it posted

that the OS can have digoxin like effects. I asked the guy how much

he took he said 1 tbsp. in the morning and evening. He was following

the directions from this link.

http://www.mnwelldir.org/docs/cancer1/altthrpy3.htm#Oleander. They

should change their instructions to the tapering dose instructions.

He followed the recipe very carefully and even had someone else double

check everything. He is going to take one day off and then start on

Friday taking 1 tsp. 1 x per day x 1 wk; then 1 tsp. 2 x per day x 1

wk.; then 2 tsp. 2 x per day with that being as high as he is going to

go. Tony, do you think this is o.k. or do you think he should just

stop. Have you seen this before?

I appreciate any and all comments,

Jeff

Does this elderly guy have a heart or blood pressure condition?

Anyone with a heart condition or on medications for blood pressure

problems should either not use oleander or be very careful and first

consult a professional caregiver.

If it were me, I would stop and see if my blood pressure normalized

for a day or two at least. Then perhaps I might begin again - but

with 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon, as my instructions specify. Only if there

were no appreciable changes would I very gradually increase the

dosage by 1/4 teaspoon at a time.

NO ONE should jump right in with a full tablespoon at a time!

Last I heard, David's computers were down - but you are right, the

information there needs to be changed.

Tony,Thanks for the reply. No he does not have any heart problems and takes no medications for the heart. Does take diabetic medication called actos+met. which is actually a hypoglycemic and metformen (cholesterol reducing medication). This is it. I appreciate you input. He will as well. If he has any question, I will direct him to his caregiver. Blessings,JeffTony wrote: Does this elderly guy have a heart or blood pressure condition? Anyone with a heart condition or on

Pam here from NZ.when I started 4 yrs ago I just raced right in taking big gulp 3xdaily,would have been more than 1tblespoon ,but I was determined to kill the invader! for a short while I had a racing heart and almost delierious state of mind in sleep and coming out of sleep....sort of lurid dreaming. And felt almost feverish.I also had loose bowels.......But I always overdo things! All symptoms were gone after 2 weeks and my body adjusted quickly to the new regime.I realized that oleander has oleandrin similar to digitoxin but felt my body could handle it and in fact the symptoms may have helped blast out the enemy so to speak.I took religeosly for 2 years then mainlt due to the taste(and the vodka) ...stopped. I am just restarting again but cutting %50x%50 with collodial silver....I havnt had heart racing this time but the other end is still being affected initially even tho I filtered well......Pam

Are you saying you get the poops, Pam? LOL. Thanks for sharing your

experience with the newer folks - though I do not recommend folks

jumping right in like you and I tend to do. BTW, sometimes larger

amounts of colloidal silver can cause loose bowels too. I get that

sometimes when I haven't taken any silver for awhile and feel that a

bug might be coming on and so glug down a bit of silver. Knocks the

bug right out too, but sometimes sends me to " the reading room " .

Remember, to beat most of the taste problem, put half the dose under

your tongue where there are no taste buds, mix the other half with a

small glass of juice like pomegranate. Hold under the tongue for

awhile, and then wash down with a gulp of juice. Really dilutes the

taste that way. And then finish the juice, which hardly has a hint

of any taste other than juice, especially a strong tasting juice like

pomegranate or cranberry.
