Filtration is a key

Experience indicates that if you add a final filtration step of

running the extract through 4 or so layers of unbleached coffee

filters you will greatly lessen the odds of having to make any mad

dashes to the " reading room " .

It can be a bit time consuming and you might have to replace the

filters a time or two, but it is well worth it in my opinion.

The less you filter the " soup " , the more organic compounds you may get

that can play a bit of havoc until you become acclimated.
