Kombucha Tea,

I sometimes wonder about the use of this product since it is a full spectrum antibiotic and do we really need that constantly in our bodies? especially since it can decimate the bacteria in our gut.

Hello to all,

It has been a while since I made a post. I don't really like to

post unless it is pertaining to OS. So I will fill you all in on

the most recent. I had a lady come and visit me the other day. She

is on her 3rd bout of breast CA. First two were primarily modern

cancer treatment (chemo and surgery). She now has mets. to multiple

places in her body, but they have not had a PET Scan yet to identify

all of the locations. She does not want to do chemo or radiation

and she already had bilat. mastectomy. She started taking OS last

week and is tapering up the dose. She is also starting to eat very

healthy, take Flax Oil/Cottage Cheese mixture 1/2 cup 2 x per day,

ESSIAC tea, Kombucha Tea, Jucing greens from the yard and garden

(dandilion, lamb's quarters, yellow dock, various grasses and small

amounts of bind weed), Trace minerals, Lugol's solution, Mega doses

of Vit. C, Homemade Super Green Drink made up of (Alfalfa Leaf

powder, Barley Grass powder, Pao D'Arco, Cat's Claw, Beet Powder,

and Azomite), Enteric Coated Pancreatic Enzymes, Digestive enzymes,

and apricot seeds.

She does not have a lot of money so she is trying to stick to things

that she can do on a budget. Speaking of a budget. I found a

company that sells Wildcrafted Pao D'Arco for $5.00 per pound and

many other organic or wildcrafted herbs for very reasonable prices.

This is where we are getting the above mentioned herbs and grass

powders. The name of the company is Pacific Botanicals and their

website is pacificbotanicals.com. I have ordered many products from

them and they are very high quality and all organic.

Please pray for this lady. Her name is Mary Ann. I will try and

keep you all posted how she is doing. The main thing I am concerned

about is dicipline to be strict with her eating habits and sticking

to taking the supplements.

I also wrote some time ago about a 14 year old boy with the Brain

Tumor. He passed away some time ago. The family opted to stop

doing everything becasue he declined so rapidly. It has been a real

sturggle for them, but they are coping well.

Blessings to all,

Jeff

Thanks for the update Jeff and the information on the source of

botanicals - I will have to take a look.

We will keep Mary Ann in our thoughts and prayers.

It's been studied by Andrew Weil, and tho I often disagree w/ him, he's investigated it in depth.

It's an antibiotic because it's a mold (and so was penicillin) and it works by attacking bacteria. Being a full spectrum antibiotic, it attacks all bacteria, including the good ones.

At least this is what I've learned reading Weil.

I feel like such a novice on here. That said, wouldn't collodial silver work

like an antibiotic, but without

the " mold " ? Janna

Colloidal Silver is deadly for a great many one-celled organisms. It

too is non-specific and kills the good ones along with the bad

ones/pathogens. One should always supplement with a good pro-biotic

while taking colloidal silver, or, as I do, supplement during a " rest

period " after a few weeks regimen of taking colloidal silver. With

some supplements I like to have intervals of rest. Examples include

colloidal silver, inositol/IP6 and echinacea. I do not take breaks

with oleander.

I just know someone is going to ask my " why " .

Thanks for the info. I am on a good probiotic with the colloidial silver.

Okay, since I feel like the novice in the group in terms of understanding what

all these herbs and

supplements do, I'll bite: why? Janna ;-)

Janna -

I think that many of the supplements are more effective if we do not

let our bodies become accustomed to them. Plus, in some instances,

our bodies can some to depend on supplements for things it should be

naturally producing. By definition a " supplement " is something that

adds to, not replaces. In other instances, such as colloidal silver

or the Kambuch tea, the actions of the supplement may need to be

counteracted. Echinacea is an example of an immune booster that loses

it's effectiveness if taken for too long at a time. Inositol/IP6 may

prevent the body from metabolizing minerals properly, may possibly

even cause the body to pull some minerals, such as calcium and

magnesium out of the bones.

One thing I do NOT give a rest period to is oleander.

A little secret - you are no novice, just inquisitive and not afraid

to ask questions. Besides, some of us are not nearly as wise as we

may appear - we just know how to " Google " well. Which reminds me,

after Orus's post, I need to look up " fungus " cancers . . .
