One thing I have found in natural medicine—possibly you have seen this, also. People in natural medicine can be just as mean-spirited and vindictive toward each other as the people that I described in the above paragraph. There is a lot of “in-fighting†about who is correct and who is not, who is qualified and who is not, who gets more attention, who came up with what first, whose treatment is the best, etc.

We didn't publish the aftermath of our investigative report that led to the FDA busting the fake cancer cure site, but basically, it bankrupted me. He lost in court badly. The judge wouldn't let them get any further than the complaint. But at the same time, it cost me/us 18K just to battle it that far. So, seeing how this guy, Big Pimpin Pappy (as he was known by his prostitutes -- the money for this fake cure was being collected at a Florida escort agency) knows only revenge, he's created and published his own investigative report traducing me. Apparently I'm a predatory pedophile living in a multimillion dollar mansion ripping off donations to my organization. My attys would LOVE to go after him but he's got no assets in the US, his sites are hosted in India, and he's a fugitive on the run from the FEDs and INTERPOL. The only good thing is that people who come across his site, then visit mine, often send donations.

 

You're right about the infighting too. Funny thing but the reason Conventional Medicine beat out the safer and more effective Homeopathy was that Conventional Medicine united, while Homeopathy broke into three schools and fought among themselves. Now about science: Science is science. Like Justice, Science too is supposed to be blind. However, because our doctors wear white coats, they can assume a power that we in the trenches of alternative medicine cannot. Everyone should read the Stanley Milgram experiments; they show how a person in a white coat can make a normal human being torture someone just by telling him/her that they "must continue on with the experiment." (There is a short video online that seems to have moved somewhere that was absolutely perfect; additionally, the documentary Ghosts of Abu Gharib begins with this famous experiment, and I highly recommend seeing this movie.)

 

I would like to re-enforce that original statement: Science is blind. In a perfect world, science would test everything looking for cures, not just morbid substances that reap in huge profits. In an article called: Rational Medicine I call for Universities (those bastions of higher learning that are SUPPOSED to be owned by we the people) to investigate natural substances, leaving the pharmaceuticals to the profiteers.

 

It is up to all of us to continually point out the flaws in Conventional Medicine's Pseudo Science. Every time they trash a substance, we must immediately show the flaws in their methodology and structure of their studies.

 

To me, it's a simple matter of life and death. To them, it's life and death too, but only to their profits. Sadly, no one in the Pharmaceutical trade is interested in saving a life, from the sales people to the corporate boards. They eat, drink, sleep, and think profits.
