And I mean food (not some superfood/or wholefood concentrate ^^)

I know I maybe one of the few, but to me I immensely enjoy horseradish

root, especially in my daily juice mixes along with the usual base of

carrots and beets. As far as fruit goes, I enjoy almsot any kind of

berry but especially enjoy organic blueberries, red raspberries and

blackerries, they go great with my daily smoothie shakes I make.

Other mentionables I enjoy include : Garlic, Onions, Watercress,

Leeks, and Watermelon

I like everything you list and then some when it comes to fruit - and most any raw or steamed veggies too. When it comes to meat, I like fish.I like to make this dish using white salt water fish (preferably cold water white fish), usually either cod, sole, or orange roughy:Tony's garlic lemon and almond fish recipe:Pre-heat oven to 375-425 degrees.Place 4 fillets of fish in a pan almost touching one another.Cut two medium sized lemons in quarters, squeeze the juice of two lemons on the fish, then spread the squeezed quarters in the pan placing next to the fillet.Apply a coating of olive oil to the fillets.Sprinkle minced garlic, grated lemon peel, sea salt and black or white pepper on the fillets.Place almond slices generously on top of the fillets.Cover the pan and place in the oven.Cook appx 15-20 minutes or so until almost done (depending on temperature, size of fillets, etc), then remove the cover and continue cooking until the almonds are crisp and browned and the fish flakes easily with a fork.Goes well with:Organic long grain and brown rice Steamed asparagus with olive oil (butter if you are brave and thin), lemon juice and lemon slices, and garlic - lightly salted with sea salt if you prefer.A variation is to use wild salmon with plum sauce, ginger and a bit of cayenne powder.Enjoy!TonyPS - I KNOW what you mean by "mentionables", thus no mention of Chili's chocolate milk shakes . . . o r almost ANY of the food I had today at the church dinner. I have a different answer:

Grilled steak and onions with a large raw mixed greens salad (no

dressings). If I want more carbs, then I use the squashes. And I love

spices.

--->> When it comes to meat, I like my salmon filet from Eco Fish and organic

chicken. I

love my homemade chicken soup with carrots, celery, peas and pearled onions with

alittle

organice rice pasta in it. Just a dash of salt.

A real favorite is organic black bean tacos with fresh pico sauce made with

tomatoes,

onions and cliantro. All organic of course.

Steamed asparagus> >green beans fresh corn on the cob if it can be found to be

organic

which is very hard to find.

Yummie blueberry smoothies.

Just give me a shout anytime you need an extra dinner guest!

I love a good steak, but do limit it and I SHOULD avoid beef that has

been subject to feedlot practices.

For my salads, I like to mix a fresh garden type salad (lettuce,

purple cabbage, carrots, etc, with baby spinach, spring greens mix

and/or aragula mix, shredded broccoli or brocolli tops, raw sliced

yellow squash and zuchinni, tomatoes, green olives and minced garlic -

then use a salad dressing that contains no soy or canola (easy to say,

hard to find, best made yourself - perhaps something like olive oil,

lemon juice, apple cider vinegar and spices).

Speaking of which - I have been in about 5 grocers markets looking for

two simple items: salad dressing without soy or canola and toothpaste

without flouride. Despite literally over a hundred varieties of each,

none qualify. Same thing with mayonnaise made without soy or canola.

I guess I will have to go into San Antonio to Whole Foods or else shop

online.

Virtually all fruit, a lot of veg, fish. Right now avocados are a big

favourite, with Thousand Island. I can get organic avocados, but not

1,000 island.

I highly recommend toothpaste from Kiss My Face which bases it's paste

on aloe vera gel among a wide variety of other beneficial ingredients

such as tea tree oil, chlorphyll, and Co-Q10. Better yet, its Floruide

free (Easy to find, Vitacost sells it for example)
