I began taking iodine (in the form designed by Edgar Cayce) daily, and all my tests now show that I am no longer hypothyroid. Studies by a Dr Abram, reported in Dr Browntein's book on Iodine, show that breast cancers, cysts, and prostate cancers just start to melt when the body gets enough iodine. I support this guy who makes Edgar Cayce's nascent iodine in his own home one bottle at a time: http://www.mnwp.org/magnascent/ Both the book and the product are highly recommended. Guest guest
Hi David, I have looked through the site and don't see instructions. What would the dosage be? Thanks! I have been dealing with breat cancer, cysts, both breast and ovarian for 7 years now. If this can help, I would really appreciate it. Thanks, Janna Janna, as I wrote May, Edgar Cayce never gave specific doses, but rather gave the person for whom he was reading his/her own dosage. If taking Lugols Solution, you can get the dosage in Dr Brownstein's book, but Cayce's Atomidine is so much more than Lugol's Solution (or the pills). In Africa, for malaria, people take 20 drops 5 times a day (in water), for a few days, then drop back. Some take five drops twice a day. I take five drops once a day in the morning. A good test is to paint a square inch patch on the inside of your forearm. If it's gone in a couple of hours, you need iodine. If it's still there for 12 hour (some say 24, but that just doesn't make sense). Like Vitamin C, the body passes Iodine out thru the urine. We need it daily. And my favorite comes from this guy in Texas who makes it one bottle at a time, and gives his an extra long electrical bath. It's NOW called Magnascent and is sold here: www.mnwp.org/magnascent Here are some pages I've written about this wonderful discovery: History of Iodine, Review of Atomidine, How to Make Atomidine, Atomidine in Medicine (I didn't write this, but reprinted it), and finally, my review of Magnascent. When I get back to working on the site, I'm going to give a review of Dr Brownstein's book (Iodine: Why You Need It, Why You Can't Live Without It ) but for anyone with breast cancer, prostate cancer, or cysts, all I can say is READ IT. Dr Abraham has discovered that these thing just start to melt when the body gets enough iodine. Blessings, David See what's free at AOL.com. Guest guest
Recent seminars I've been attending suggests the daily intake of iodine should be 12 to 15 mgs (not mcgs!!!!) per day. Lugol's solution, 2 drops provide this dosage. The conjecture then was how rapidly to build people up from a deficiency. 50 to 80 mgs per day for one to 3 months was the suggested dosage. Indeed in the pre-Antibiotic age Pharmacopiaea, 50 to 100 mg per day were a common dosage for building up from a defiency. Those taking thyroid medications should not even consider proceding without a doctor's (specialist's) advice and monitoring of the case. Dr. Julian Whitaker who lectures around the country, now takes 180 mgs (only before a plane flight) to avoid reactions to allergens and pathogens outside his living area. He has suffered no side-effects; he has remained symptom free for such as colds on his lecture circuit since implementing this protocol. If you are prudent (you should be), take Lugol's 2 drop dose for a few days. If all is fine, proceed to 4 drops per day for a few days. Again if all if fine, keep incrementing until you reach 8 drops per day. This gives 50 mg per day. One to three months loading at this level will restore the body's optimal reserves of iodine. Now, please consider that if you have developed adaptations because of iodine deficiency, you may go through " re-tracing " . You may get a cold. Old symptoms long gone may appear for a period as the body releases the adaptations it has made so long ago when not enough iodine was available for optimal health. You can access some of the seminar information I refer to at www.dobbins.org. Dr. Goebel ______________________________\ ____ No need to miss a message. Get email on-the-go with Mail for Mobile.
