Guest guest
I really appreciated reading what everyone was taking - it validated much of what I have been doing as well. I try to eat as much as I can organic. Taking msm - sulfur for imflamation. Have done a parasite cleanese - continuing with that, and a gallbladder flush. Moving on to other things as I feel better. I found the information about the cause of depression very interesting. I have been sufferring with intense depression all my life. My mother didn't let us eat sugar - sweets and candy were not allowed in our house, niether were sodas. Snacks were fruit, veggies stuff like that. So, I seem to only have gotten worse with my depression and I don't eat any sugar, white flour, rice and the like. Any suggestions for treating depression naturally - it has been miserable for me. The drs. have tried to label me bi polar but I don't want to go on those drugs. Any natural remedies that work would be appreciated. I recognize that this is not about cancer, but the depression ( and fear of reoccurrance) has gotten worse since the cancer. This is no way to live. Guest guest
Hi Janna, Bless your heart. In my opinion, you cannot medicate yourself with either drugs or any other type of supplements. You do need to see some type of doctor for your condition. If you don't want to take the conventional meds, I would suggest going to a Doctor of Naturopathy. However, you do need some type of supervision. Don't do this alone. I do not know the cause or workings of being bi polar. I don't like calling these types of conditions mental diseases, because there are other causes, such as chemical imbalances for one. I suffered from an anxiety disorder for eight years. And I was agoraphobic. In my particular situation, I know how debilitating that condition was and there is no way I could have survived that on my own. I do urge you to seek help, in one way or another. I do hope that someone familiar with your type of disorder can give better, or more helpful suggestions. oleander soup , " dreamweavermphs " <cr8iveart wrote: > > I really appreciated reading what everyone was taking - it validated much of what I have been > doing as well. Guest guest
TCM remedy that works very well for depression: Albizzia Julibrissin--Mimosa. I have been making this tincture for about 5 years now. Michael Tierra makes it and has a very good writeup on it at http://www.planetherbs.com/showcase/docs/albizzia.php. Also Divid Winston at Herbalist Alchemist uses it in his Grief Formula as well as by itself. Guest guest
Have you tried lithium orotate ? How about magnesium taurate and magnesium orotate ? How about B complex ,sublingual methylcobalamin B12 and P5P ? What condition is your thyroid? Subclinical hypothyroidism ? Atomidine ? What is the condition of your adrenals ? Hyperadrenalism ? Too much unopposed cortisol with no let up ? These could be things for you to investigate . oleander soup , " dreamweavermphs " <cr8iveart wrote: > > I really appreciated reading what everyone was taking - it validated much of what I have been > doing as well. Guest guest
Wow! This is a very timely post. Coincidence? Synchronicity? You were not speaking to me but I do have hypothyroidism. The only thing that you mentioned that I am familiar with is B complex. What are the others and what do they do? I have been taking Synthroid, the lowest dose. Thanks, oleander soup , " barbiec1953 " <bcentofante wrote: > > > > Have you tried lithium orotate ? > > How about magnesium taurate and magnesium orotate ? > > How about B complex ,sublingual methylcobalamin B12 and P5P ? > > What condition is your thyroid? > > Subclinical hypothyroidism ? Guest guest
Too many questions and individual data variables to give you an answer. Lithium is a trace mineral, not a major mineral; be cautious. You might want to see a naturopathic doctor for a full evaluation. Recommendations w/o a full work-up would be presumptous at best. Dr. Goebel ______________________________\ ____Luggage? GPS?
