Yikes! The FDA Codex Action Alert Message was Bogus!

The more I checked (which I should have done earlier - shame on me!), the more I found that made me suspicious of the National Solutions Foundation and the Health Freedom Organization that put out the FDA April 30th Codex Action alert posted here earlier in this forum and whose bandwagon I readily jumped on.In a nutshell, a bit of googling will reveal that they are a disinformation group who may actually be working FOR Big Pharma by diverting our attention away from the real issues with Codex and the FDA - and this is not the first time they have done so.I also found that this is far from the only group to be fooled - as in one instance they even got a positve article in the prestigious Townsend Report. true health freedom group and I sure wonder how much Pharma pays them

to pretend to be. John Hammell states it the best in his send out

below. They do this stuff to send people down the wrong road and act

like they know Codex and have ties which they don't. And mainly cause

all of us to waste time, just as we are, wondering if the sky is

falling at the FDA on this topic and on others.

There is a crisis in health freedom. On April 30, 2007 the FDA will

close the public comment period on a "Guidance" which will classify

every alternative practice as medicine so that only licensed physicians

can carry out the procedure AND vitamins, minerals, herbs, etc., will

suddenly become "untested drugs" which will be forbidden.

Bad? Real Bad! But public outcry can stop this assault on your health and your freedom.

Spread the word! Tell everyone in your Circle of Influence,

professionals, alternative practitioners, nutrient and herb companies,

everyone! Let them know how important their participation is to make

sure the FDA backs off from this repressive course.

IAHF List:

A few people on the IAHF list have forwarded an alert to us that

originated from a controlled opposition group called the "Natural

Solutions Foundation". Since entering our movement, this dubious

organization has been actively interfering with the work of IAHF and

allied organizations via a campaign of disinformation and spin intended

to distract dietary supplement consumers from the REAL issues in an

attempt to subvert and hijack our movement by steering the grass roots

into dead ends. Their gameplan is thoroughly exposed here:

Their recent campaign calls attention to an FDA Federal Register Notice which they outrageously assert threatens to block non MDs from recommending dietary supplements to patients is no exception.

They would have us believe that unless we flood the FDA with their

form comment, that the FDA is going to suddenly start attacking any non

MD (chiropractor, ND, etc) who recommends dietary supplements to a

patient.

NSFs assertions are both false and absurd. They would have us

believe that FDA has the ability to rewrite the law. FDA can't do that,

only Congress can. They would have us believe that through a Federal

Register notice, FDA has the ability to make changes to the Dietary

Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994 under which dietary

supplements are regulated as foods. They would have us believe that

based on what FDA is saying, that unless FDA hears from a lot of

people, non MDs (naturopaths, chiropractors) will suddenly not be

allowed to recommend dietary supplements to patients and that health

food stores would no longer be allowed to sell them to us. That is both

false and absurd! This is the worst form of sensationalism and it has

NO PLACE in this movement!

WHAT NSF IS TRYING TO DISTRACT YOU FROM

It should be self evident that unless we are able to stop our

country from being forced into the North American Union, that failure

to defend our sovereignty equals failure to defend the Dietary

Supplement Health and Education Act and all of our other laws as well

as our Constitution.

Laibow/Stubblebine aren't doing a damn thing to call attention to

this, moreover, when our movement attempted to kill CAFTA, (recognizing

that the SPS language it contains ropes us more into CODEX)

Laibow/Stubblebine generated no less than SEVEN spin pieces against our

message while SIMULTANEOUSLY telling people that they'd just achieved a

(non existent) "VICTORY" at Codex.

They did this in order to create COGNITIVE DISSONANCE in the minds

of the people who were receiving our alerts- because they wanted them

to SIT ON THEIR HANDS and not do ANYTHING to oppose CAFTA. Right now,

I assure you Rima E. Laibow, MD is for real. She has several dozen

congressmen already alerted and teams of lawyers working pro bono

working on stopping Codex.

 

I listened to the complete online presentation by , MD.

Nature's Sunshine originally sent me the alert 9 months ago. Nature's

Sunshine has been sued by the FDA several dozen times. The FDA has

lost every suit. So, I presume Nature's Sunshine's information, and

Kevin Trudeau's information, to be 99% accurately factual. It takes

having all your facts organized and well-presented to persevere in

court when the FDA is your opponent.

 

Another question to ask regarding Dr. Rima E. Laibow is, basically,

whose side is she on? Well, would the FDA or Big Pharmacy deliberately

organize resistance against itself? No, Dr. Laibow is for real, the

Codex threat is for real, and there will be much misinformation in the

next few years.

 

 

But, don't take my word for it! This issue is important enough to

merit your time to educate yourself and keep frequently apprised of the

current state of the situation. Wouldn't you agree? I remember the

kidnapping of Dr. Wright's office. I remember the resistance to DSHEA

and what the opposition was planning.

 

Remember that freedom is a condition that takes eternal vigilance to be

maintained. With enough vigilance, and communication, we will not lose

all our rights.

 

Be an advocate of freedom. Do not become what Michael Savage calls,

" The Sheeple " .

Yes, I agree that Laibow is real and may be truly well meaning, but her organizations certainly have earned thier share and more of detractors among respected alternative health voices.According to some sources I respect, the two organizations have put out disinformation in the past and present. Perhaps no one is more of an anti-FDA alternate health advocate than my friend David at International Wellness and he has had problems with them posting erroneous information on his site. Further, once he notified them of their mistakes, they ignored him and refused to correct the errors.Their current message is truly earth shattering. Given the tendency of alternate health forums and groups I am affiliated with to jump on any issue, I find it odd that there is not a huge bouhaha about this issue - yet just about ALL I can find is the message from her groups. I am sure that folks like Ralph Moss, Bottomline Health, International

Wellness, Jon Barron, Annie Appleseed and Dr. Mercola would be fiercely joined in the battle if we really were in danger of losing supplements and alternative care on April 30th.As for Kevin Trudeau - I have virtually no respect for Trudeau and consider 99% of what he does to be intended to enrich Kevin Trudeau first and foremost!
