Balanced bodies and minds are the key

Thanks for the info, Dr. G. I am not familiar with Dr. Reich, but

will have to check it out. Regardless of the terminaology, I feel

that a body in balance is essential for optimum health and beating and

warding off disease. And that includes the mind.

 

Most people tend to separate mind and body, but really the two are

inseparable. Study after study has proven the heallth and healing

benefits of a positive attitude and tranquil stress free mind.

 

People tend to overlook the fact that the brain is an organ too. Just

as good nutrition and lifestyle choices are important for the health

of our other major organs, so it is for our brains. In fact, I am

convinced that many of the same culprits that have lead to the

proliferation of cancer and other serious health conditions are also

responsible for the modern phenomena of mental conditions such as

bi-polar, ADD, ADHD, etc.

 

And of course, one cannot discount the propensity of mainstream

medicine to jump on the bandwagon whenever they find a new condition

to treat and proscribe for. Which leads to lab-created drugs with

side effects that lead to still more drugs in a never ending cycle.

The end result is a lifetime of less than optimum health and a growing

dependency on prescribed and over the counter medications.

 

Unfortunately, those most effected by the new wave of conditions are

our children - because the toxins, additives, deficiencies in

nutrition, and lack of exercise affect how their brains develop.

Neglect to properly address those issues is affecting them for life!
