Thanks so much for this information, Annette.

I note that the website originates in South Africa, which is the site

of the South African " Cancer Bush " , Sutherlandia frutescans I recently

posted here (http://www.sutherlandia.org)

It appears to me that Sutherlandia would also be a good candidate for

helping appetite and energy. Here is an excerpt from an article on

that site, " Chronic Fatigues Syndrome and Sutherlandia " by Dr. Nigel

Gericke:

" Quality-of-life Tonic

Sutherlandia is a quality-of-life tonic par excellence

* Mood - Sutherlandia decreases anxiety and irritability and it

elevates mood.

* Appetite and Weight - Sutherlandia dramatically improves

appetite, and weight-gain can be expected in wasted patients. The

first 5 kg gain is common after six weeks of treatment. In people

living with CFS who are not wasted, weight-gain is not usual.

* Energy Levels and Exercise Tolerance - Sutherlandia typically

improves the energy levels and exercise tolerance of patients, and

gives an enhanced sense of overall well-being. "

Hi I live in South Africa and am growing Sutherlandia at the moment, just as a

garden plant.

I have some Sutherlandia tablets - and take them if I feel a flu coming on.

They are investigating quite a few of the plants here for

all sorts of ailments.

Another useful one is the African Ginger, my sister in the UK came down

with flu, took the African Ginger and recovered in 1/2 the time other people

took to recover.

Moducare, another magical product made from plant sterolins made in south

Africa,

My brother in law has nasal polyps, he found after taking moducare, his

sense of

smell was returned after many years of being absent.

regards

Annette
