How long will OS keep?

I'm still using some OS I made two years ago, regular concentrate,

preserved with vodka, and refrigerated. It seems perfectly fresh

today, and no different than when made. I know there are different

opinions on how long to keep OS, since it's so easy and cheap to make,

but, it seems to last when refrigerated and preserved as a tincture. Ed

I think that would be one for the scientists - and of course no one in mainstream science and medicine is going to test OS. Who knows, OS may keep for a long, long time, but since just about everything degrades over time and has an expiration date, even when refrigerated, frozen and/or kept in dark air-tight sealed containers, personally I would feel much better making a batch in the spring and another in the fall and go with the idea of keeping it for six months if possible.I keep thinking about the steak that I found in the back of the freezer about 30 years ago when I thought the label said 1975. Turned out to be 1973 and it tasted soooo foul!Tonyed4soup <ed4636 wrote: I'm still using some OS I made two years ago, regular concentrate, preserved with vodka, and
