OKAY. So you know how when they pull teeth, they normally do not get rid of the ligament and then one develops a real nice infection called a CAVITATION?

Well, I had a tooth pulled and now the tooth next to the empty spot is hurting. It has slowly been gong on for along time, and my guess is that it is from the cavitation next door to it.

Anyway, will OIL OF OREGANO work for curing this?

Normally, they say one has to go in with a dental burr and grind away some of the bone to get it to fill in again.

Even if one has a " regular " tooth ache, will the OREGANO actually cure it?

What about gingivatis?

My new husband gets nasty, nasty bouts of it and I certainly don't want him to take any more antibiotics for it..

Thanks,

~inga

Re: Tea Tree Oil vs Toothache

I've used clove oil in the past and it doesn't kill the immediate infection. I know that oregano oil does, and it sounds as if tea tree oil does. The clove oil will numb the gums and the tooth.

You can use oregano but tea tree oil would be a lot less painful for

the toothache .

I've had absesses under the studs, remnants or teeth, under some caps.

The stud rots, and then the tooth beside it rots, and the bacteria

from the rot, infects the tooth's next door neighbor. My explanation.

I put the oregano oil on, and it outright goes away. That would be the

infection and the pain. I can vouch for tea tree oil in relation to

other things, but not toothaches. One of the other guys does though.

Oregano burns, but doesn't actually blister the mouth, unless you use

more than the few drops that I used for the purpose several times. Try

the tea tree oil, and the oregano. I don't know which is more

expensive though.
