I am not saying you could be right or wrong, but when I drink any thing with sucralose in it it makes me very sick to my stomach and I end up in the bathroom over and over again. Janet

I think the Sucralose warnings are overstated and here's why:

Around fifteen percent (15%) of sucralose is absorbed by the body,

but they cannot guarantee us (out of this fifteen percent) what

amount of chlorine stays in the body and what percent flushes out.

Sucralose is the many times sweeter than sugar; the average dose of

sucralose as a sweetener is only about 18 THOUSANDTHS OF A GRAM!! How

sick do you think you could get on 2.7 mg of sucralose per dose?

Moving along, this is the structure of sucralose:

http://www.elmhurst.edu/~chm/vchembook/549sucralose.html

Quickly count the atoms that are not chlorine -- I got about 39. Now

count the chlorine atoms. I got three.

So, only one atom in 13 is chlorine. An exact correlation should be

done by molecular weight, but on the surface of it you're getting

just 2/10 of one milligram of chlorine. How much of your body is

already chlorine in the HCl in the stomach and the NaCl in the blood?

I rest my case.

It may ver well be oversated, but when I eat or drink products with sucralose in them I get big blisters on my body. Usually my face, but they have shown up other places too.

The boils or what ever they were kept popping up and I could not figure out what was causing it, but it finally dawned on me it was the diet rite, swiss miss diet coco, and blue bunny diet ice cream. I cut those out and it stopped.

Then I started getting blisters/boils again and could not figure it out. I read the labels of everything I had been eating, and It was some new weight watchers ice cream treats that did not have the big yellow splenda label on the package, but when you searched the ingredent list scuralose was buried deep within.
